I've just read a fun book - Beetle Boy by M.G. Leonard. The glorious start to a middle-grade trilogy about a brilliant boy, his loyal friends, and some amazingly intelligent beetles that brings together adventure, humor, and real science!
I also have a box of Beetle postcards so if you'd like one here please message me your address with 'Beetle Boy' in the subject line. I might tell you something about The Battle of the Beetles trilogy or about the Beetles on your postcard.
I'll try to honour all requests made in March but please be patient. It may take me a couple of weeks from your request time as I am only able to get to the post office for stamps on weekends.

Hi Diana,
I received your beetle postcard yesterday! Thank you for sharing! I checked out M.G. Leonard's web page to learn more about her and her books. I'm predominantly a seventh grade world history teacher, but I also work one or two periods a day in our school library. I go through spells when I am reading more YA than usual. One of my favorite authors is E. L. Konigsburg, although her books are more children/middle school.
