Olivia-Savannah (olivia_catastrophe) What were your thoughts on this novel?

Laura (blueeyebooks) | 8 comments I had such high expectations for this! Maybe that was where I went wrong but it was actually a bit of a disappointment for me. I just think that there could have been so much more descriptive rhetoric. Everything was a little too cut and dry for me.

Eeee, I am so sorry that the style didn't work for you. From the premise, I also thought it was going to be a bit more descriptive in the writing style...

Laura (blueeyebooks) | 8 comments Haha that's okay, Olivia! I thought it would be too. You can't love every book out there :)

Daniela Zekotic | 11 comments Yes I was missing the decriptive part as well. but I did enjoy the whole idea of the story, it just wasn't developed enough

Laura (blueeyebooks) | 8 comments I agree with you Daniela! What did you think of the romance?

Daniela Zekotic | 11 comments the romance was thankfully not overdone. I think it's easy to grow feelings quite quickly if you're in such a situation, I actually liked it.

Laura (blueeyebooks) | 8 comments Same! I feel like romances are so overdone in dystopia/apocalyptic books and while I can understand that a romance would grow quickly under such circumstances, I always became annoyed at how the romance became the focal point instead of surviving or figuring out what's happening with the world. So I loved that this romance wasn't too overblown!
