I am looking for an older Mills and Boon book - probably late 1970s/1980s. I think it was one with the white cover with the picture at the bottom.
It starts with the heroine ill in bed with flu. The hero has either broken down the door or asked her landlady to let him in. He is furious that she has not turned to her family for help and takes her to France. I think he is some sort of step relation.
I don't remember a lot more than this. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks for your help finding this. Much appreciated.
I think my memory of this may be a composite of 2 books but Beloved Intruder seems to be one of them. I remembered it as soon as I saw the scene back at her flat.
