I was just given this website that list sites for book promotions. I'm going to try as much of them as I can. The lower the ranking, the more exposure your book will receive. Hope it helps.

I have a book promotion Aug. 31 (this Thursday) with Awesomegang.com. Cost $10.00. I'll let you know how it went.

There were no sales from the Awesomegang promotion, so I'm crossing that from my list. That was $10.00 I could have kept to promote on the ones I know that work. And I think he's the same guy that has the bookreadermazagine site where I also received no sales.

So, I'm going to check the sister sites of Awesomegang (pretty-hot.com, bookgoodies.com, bookasaurus.com) and if his name are on those sites, I won't bother.

But other authors may have had better results. His sites just doesn't work for me.

That sucks. Well at least we know it doesn't work now. Crossing them off the list. I'll have more input in November, because I'm gonna try lots of advertisements when my book releases

And I'm correct, they're all owned by the same guy. I don't know how he's still in business. On another forum I'm with, they all say the same thing about his sites: No Sales!

All the best with your promos, I hope it works out for you:)

That's ridiculous. Hopefully people start catching on, because it sounds like a scam!

Haven't seen any emails from them, I don't think. He's like the smart scammer. Let the money come to you

Okay--I opened a thread on another forum about which paid promotions work and which ones doesn't, which I probably mentioned about somewhere on here. I've already put some sites here. There are so many sites out there that you can buy a promotion for your book. It's amazing how many there is. So, here are a few more that other authors swear by.

I haven't tried them yet, and some require 10 or over reviews and high ratings, which is understandable. Some might work for you, some might not. Hope this works out. I'll certainly report my results:

bookadrenaline.com
digitalbooktoday.com
choosybookworm.com
mybookcave.com
readcheaply.com
bookloversheaven.com
bookrunes.com
booksends.com

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 256 comments Ehh! Paid for Facebook Ads back a few years ago twice. First time was for adds(now I know you don't pay for followers) and second time was for a book promotion and I had no idea what I was doing. Didn't do anything and Facebook kept bothering me to pay up even though the ad sucked.
