Page Numbering Inquiry

The page count for edition of "The Light Fantastic" (ISBN: 9780552128483) that I'm reading is 217 according to Goodreads page, however the physical book has 288 pages. I have insured that I typed in the correct ISBN multiple times.

The only thing I can think of is that my edition is the 1998 reprint and the page numbering is different compared to other reprints.
