Kathy | 6 comments I am a huge fan of Karen Marie Moning's "Fever Fae" series. Her next book won't be released until January, 2015, and I am looking for similar reads. I do not like Vampire stories, but Fae...definitely! I found a recommendation on Goodreads re: S.A. Archer, "Touched" series. It's Fae based, so I will take a look at them. If you have any suggestions, in this genre, please post to me! Thanks!

Jule | 8 comments Try
Wicked Lovely (Wicked Lovely #1)
by Melissa Marr.
There are about five books in the series.(do not read spoilers as it will ruin the fun).
I read alot of either witch or fae books and this is my favourite of all. Be warned order the set from the libary as you will not be able to put these books down. Have fun .

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I know you do not like vampire stories but I think you may like Chicagoland Vampires.

If you want a good fae story I recommend October Daye series

For something that has an interesting mythology mix I would recommend Dark Hunters

Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1) by Seanan McGuire Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Karena (karenafagan) I second Dawn about both October Daye by Seanan McGuire and the Chicagoland Vampires. Also Kevin Hearne's Iron druid Chronicles. No Fae, but plenty of snark and violence which is always a good combo. Also Seanan's other series Incryptid is great too.

Michelle (pettpeeve) | 5 comments I love, love, love Michelle Sagara's "Cast" series. No vampires, werewolves, but there are elves and dragons. Iron Druid is great fun. So are The Dresden Files, he has magic and elves, but there are vampires and some werewolves, the main theme is magic based. One more, Cat Adam's "Song" series. Another one with emphasis on magic.
