Hi,

I tried to load my own scanned image, but wasn't able to. I'm currently reading The Sixth Commandment by Lawrence Sanders. The Amazon cover is here:

I tried to find a version of the book in goodreads that I could just add the cover to but this version is slightly different. It is copyrighted in 1978 by G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York. There is a similar book copyrighted 1979. This book does not have any ISBN numbers, it is a Book Club Edition and It is 322 pages. Please let me know if you need more information or my scanned copy which I can't seem to upload.

For older books ISBNs were sometimes added later. We have this 1989 publishing: The Sixth Commandment. If your cover is identical I don't think we will add a new edition. If it is different, we can add it. Worldcat has two editions with this same ISBN, one from 1978 and one from 1989, with 312 and 350 pages, respectively.

The copyright for the book I'm reading is 1978. The covers are not the same, the title is yellow among other differences.

Publication date in itself does not merit another cover.

You say "the title is yellow among other differences". I'm uncertain the color difference is real rather than aging. Some bookseller pictures on AbeBooks:
