Castalia has always had a talent for Divination work, just like her mother always did. She's a sort of psychic, she can sense what people are like when she meets them, she knows when they're lying, and can occasionally predict things that are to happen in the future. It's all in her blood, really. Castalia has a cat named Alastair, a pure black cat with big green eyes. She's always had a way with cats, they used to follow her around when she was a student at Hogwarts, and hell they still do. Castalia has tried other careers, but nothing has fit better with her than teaching students back at Hogwarts. She likes seeing kids that actually get into the study of divination, and she loves punishing the ones that piss her off. Hogwarts has been her home since she was 12, and she feel very loyal to the school, the staff, and her house: Slytherin.

Castalia despises the snobby kids and professors at school that judged the students of less pure blood. She honestly wants to slap them, because if they're at Hogwarts, they have magical talent, and that's that. Castalia has always hated potions, as she's never been good with exact measurements, or even with remembering spells. She's much better with the natural gifts in divinations she's got. She wasn't the most popular kid back in school, but she was always happy, always loving herself. And when she sees her students wishing they were someone else, she just wants to shake them and tell them they're perfect. Castalia doesn't take dishonesty, she'll take points from students, give them detentions for it. As far as adults in her life, she truly will just boot them from her life.

Castalia Locke was born the first and only daughter of Mae and Peter Locke. Both were pure blooded wizards, previously a Ravenclaw and Slytherin at Hogwarts, when they were younger. Peter moved on to be an auror with the ministry, while Mae worked in the ministry offices as a secretary. Mae passed the gifts of divinations onto her daughter, as her grandmother had done for her. They catered to Castalia's gift before they even knew that she had one, in something reminiscent to the wicken cultures of muggles. Different rituals, combining happily and fully with nature, and of course regular wizardry. Castilia was doted on as a child, adored by both her mother and father. They cared for her so much, always keeping track of how happy she was and if there was anything she needed. Castalia happened to always be a very free spirit with her friends, much like her mother was. She believed in being kind to people, and always completely honest. That's how she was when she got to Hogwarts at she 12, when she was sorted into Slytherin house. Castalia didn't exactly fit in, she was actually made to feel a bit alienated. She had friends of course, but she wasn't popular. She was seen as the crazy, rebellious one in her time. She got in trouble on purpose and pulled pranks with her friends constantly, getting the teachers all riled up over really nothing. She excelled in her classes. Even when she didn't understand, she went by the book and mesmerized the material enough to pass, even with flying colors.

After graduating Hogwarts, Castalia had a bit of a rough time finding her place. She'd always done wonderfully in divinations in school as her mother had, but Castilia supposed she could follow in her mothers footsteps and work at the ministry. She went to work there after school, and absolutely hated it. She sat at a desk answering phones and logging meetings for the minister. She had to dress in pencil skirts, that's right, PENCIL SKIRTS. She hated every second of it. Except for the boyfriends, she found a lot of them at the ministry, even some of the higher ups dated her for a bit. After a year or so, she started looking for other jobs, somewhere that she could do something that she really wanted, instead of what bored her half to death. She found a position open at Hogwarts as the Divinations Professor, as well as the Head of Slytherin House. She applied for the position, and to her surprise she got an interview. She didn't think she would, given her small history as a trouble maker when she attended the school. But she went for the interview when she wasn't even sure if she wanted the job. Yeah she'd loved going to Hogwarts, but did she want to live there all year, with such limited access to people her age... But either way, she went to the interview. And once she was there, she instantly wanted to be back. She wanted to see the students in her classes, to manage and teach. It was so exciting. She was offered the job position, and took it. Her first year of working was exciting as hell to her. She was teaching students and welcoming first years. With how young she was she was considered the cool teacher, and still is. She's loving her second year of teaching, too.

What Do They Teach?: Potions/Gryffindor Head of House
Personality: Out of school, Tyler is a fun-loving person. She is known to be a bit of a partier, and a rule-breaker. While she is teaching Tyler has two main personalities that she switches between depending on the day and her mood. The first is a teacher that likes to have a lot of fun and get her students involved so that they will actually like her class, and participate without too much push from herself. The last thing she wants is for potions to be a class that everyone dreads. She just wants them to be excited about not only potions, but learning in general. The other main personality is very strict, and does not take any back-talk or sass from any students, or even other adults. Her usual teaching personality is more the first, excited teacher, with just enough discipline to make sure students don't get out of hand.
History: Tyler had a pretty ordinary childhood. She was born into a wizarding family, with a half-blood mother, and muggle-born father. It was no surprise when she got her letter to Hogwarts, which is where she spent the next seven years of her life. She was sorted into the Gryffindor House, though she was not quite sure, because at the time, she was not very brave or bold. As she began to meet more people, she quickly uncovered what the Sorting Hat knew was there all along, and became very much so a Gryffindor. When she was in her sixth year at Hogwarts, Tyler was told that she had Bipolar disorder. Her Bipolar is very manageable. She has to be sure she takes her meds, but sometimes, even when she is on meds, she slips into either a manic (hyperactive) or depressive (self-explanatory) state. It is more common for her to slip into a manic state, which basically means that she becomes very much so her first teaching personality, and doesn't always have very good judgment. She has figured out a potion that helps tone down her manic state, and has it written down on a notecard in her office. The other teachers known that when she is manic, to find the notecard (it is always in the top left drawer of her desk) and make the potion to force feed it to Tyler. (Whenever she is manic, she never wants to leave the manic state, but if she doesn't she will eventually crash off the high, and either severely injure or kill herself.) The same goes for when she slips into a depressive state, with a different notecard. After Hogwarts, she spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to do for a living. She lived wildly. Her meds were not a good match for her, so she would often skip taking her meds, and often would go into a manic state. She nearly died four times. Each time gave her at least three months at St. Mungo's receiving treatment. When she was 21, she had her daughter in a rehab center. She doesn't remember having the child, only being told when she was finally stable again. They told her that her daughter's name was Alex, after Tyler's middle name, Alexandria. Alex was adopted, and Tyler never met her. She doesn't remember who the father is either. After being released from the rehab center, she was put on better meds, and has been very stable since, (although occasionally, the meds fail.) When she was 30, she was asked to teach potions, (her best subject in school) and she eagerly accepted. Three years after that, she became Gryffindor Head of House. She has been searching for her daughter since she started teaching, but assumes that her adoptive parents changed her name, or do not live near Hogwarts, as there are no Alex's enrolled in the year that Alex would be at Hogwarts.

Classroom Personality
Professor Crawley is one of the strictest teachers in the school- mess around in his class and your out. He often takes points off of students for the smallest of things as he feels if he lets something go the students feel the they can get away with more and messing around is dangerous in his class so he punishes them for their own safety. Professor Crawley knows how to keep a class quite without raising his voice at all and can keep even the most boring of theory lessons interesting and engaging for the students. He is a teacher students can go to when they have problems- serious problems not friendship troubles or relationship troubles- there is no way you will get him to deal with that.
Normal Personality
Adrian is an intelligent man and is well spoken but he often jokes around and pulls pranks on his friends. He isn't that mature and still acts like a big kid at time. He is a womanizer and a huge flirt. He can come across as arrogant and very cocky. He has no self confidence issues what so ever and is not one for a mid-life crisis either. He can be bookish at times and spends a lot of his spare time trying to invent new spells.
History:
Adrian Crawley was born to a middle class family. His father is a muggle and his mother a witch. Adrian was a surprise to the young couple as they didn't think Alice could get pregnant but she did and Adrian was the result. Adrian wasn't spoilt as a child but he did get everything he wanted on birthday's and Christmas's much to his delight. At an early age he showed signs of being intelligent- he could talk at a year old, could read by three years old, simple sums and words at four years and so on. It was no surprise to his parents when he started primary school he was ahead of everyone else. The headmaster of the school moved him up a couple of years due to his intelligence. At 7 years old he showed his first sings of magic and turned the teachers hair pink with yellow spots as she was treating him as if he was stupid. His mother was relived as she didn't really want a squib for a son.
Adrian graduated from primary school at age 8 and went to a special school for talented young people. He was there for 3 years before receiving his Hogwarts letter. So it was off to Hogwarts he went. At Hogwarts he was sorted into Ravenclaw house and made a couple of friends in his year. His years passed in a blur of flirting with girls,parties, quidditch and exams. He achieved the highest results they had in nearly 20 years in his OWL'S and NEWT'S.
Once graduating from Hogwarts he spent 20 years as an Auror and was eventually head Auror for a while. During those 20 years he captured many dark wizards and flirted with many girls but he never settled down with one. He never found the right women for him. He eventually retired from life as an Auror and took up a job at Hogwarts. He was made Head of Ravenclaw house after a year of teaching there.

Personality: Madeline is a bit of a dreamer. She has the personality that you would usually associate with a Divination teacher. She believes in the supernatural, but not a ridiculous extent. She is larger than life, and a lively teacher, despite being slightly older. Madeline has a lot of grandma-like qualities. She is always kind and loving to all her students, even the ones who are rude to her. She sees the good in everyone, and doesn't ever judge them. A lot of students come to her for advice. She is very open, and likes to use her life experiences to help others.
History: Madeline is a pure-blood witch (though she doesn't care about blood-status) who was in the Hufflepuff house during her years at Hogwarts. She grew up in a normal wizarding home, and had no real hardships in life. Quickly after finishing at Hogwarts, she married her school time sweetheart, Richard Kennedy. The two were very much in love and very happy, despite the criticism they received for marrying so young (they were both 18). They always wanted to have kids, but were unable to. This always broke Madeline's heart, as all she wanted when she was younger was to grow up, get married, and have lots of children. On their fifth anniversary, Richard and Madeline travelled to Paris. As they were crossing a street, a car came careening down the road, and Richard was struck and killed. Madeline did not get hit at all, as the car barely missed her. When she got home, she decided to work at St. Mungo's, trying to save other people's loved ones. She worked at St. Mungo's for seventeen years, before applying for a job at Hogwarts. She applied for the astronomy position as she was always good at it, but also because Richard and Madeline would always talk about stars. Somehow, the stars make Madeline feel closer to her departed husband. Also, teaching allowed her to work with kids, something she had wanted to do since she was s little girl. She loves teaching at Hogwarts, and wouldn't change it for the world.

Personality: wisteria loves all animals which is why she applied for the job of care of magical creatures. She is a little crazy, but is extremely nice and patient with everyone. She is very smart, and a bit of a bragger. She interrupts people a lot because she loves talking. She is slightly hyper because she may or may not have too many cups of coffee in the morning.
History: wisteria is a halfblood witch. Her father was a gryffendor and her mom was a muggle. Wisteria was sorted into hufflepuff. They were both murdered by purebloods when she was nineteen. Wisteria went into withdrawal and wouldn't talk to anybody. Then, she met her husband, James Sheldon. They got married after five years of dating. Later she found out that James was a wizard and had been in ravenclaw, one year ahead of her. They now have two kids, a boy and a girl that are twins.

What Do They Teach?: Muggle Studies
Personality: Olive Windsor is very down-to-earth. She's gentle and easy-going and approachable. She has a soft voice. Olive is carefree and non-judgmental and she loves animals and people alike. She gets very involved in her work and is the sort of professor that students feel comfortable confronting.
History: Olive grew up in a half-blood family composed of Mother, two older brothers and one older sister, and two younger brothers. (Her father died in a flying car accident when they were all very young.) All of her siblings received letters to Hogwarts; all were accepted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff except for the youngest brother, Lucas, who ended up in Slytherin. He caused a load of trouble, made a bad name for the family, and ended up serving in Askaban. The rest of the siblings went on to modest careers in smaller cabinets of the Ministry of Magic or as staff members in various wizarding organizations, while Olive went on to become a professor at the school she loved so much, Hogwarts. She began working at the school at age twenty-five and has continued working there ever since.
