Appearance: Esme has longish brown hair. Her hair is naturally brown and she really wants to dye it, but she's not allowed. Her eyes are brown, and her skin isn't tanned at all. It's not pale, though. More pink. She's shortish (medium short? Is that a height?)

Personality: She's really nice and bubbly, but to people she doesn't like she's really horrible. She can be horrible to people she likes, as well, though. She doesn't believe in discrimination. She is very loyal, but also always repays her grudges, so... depends how much she likes the person. Esme spends a lot of her time reading and doing homework, but she's not boring (as such).
History: Both of Esme's parents were magic, but both of them had been muggle-borns. They both expected her to be a squid, and, whilst she was younger, it seemed like she was. She showed no magical ability until, one day, when she was 8, she fixed a ripped book. Her parents were delighted, and immediately set about telling all their friends. Esme couldn't repeat the feat for another 2 years, when she set the kitchen on fire in a fit of anger. That pretty much proved she was 100% magical.

Leah tries to be kind, she really does but often she can't control rage. She is quite sensitive and can start to cry easily, that's probably why she tries to stay calm all the time.

Say hello to Madeline Flynn; a 17 year old Ravenclaw from Cardiff, Wales. Maddie is a Halfblood in her Sixth year of Hogwarts. People say that she resembles Shenae Grimes, but Maddie doesn't see it.

She may not look it, but Madeline Flynn is one of the most intelligent girls you'll ever meet. She understands all the subjects taught at Hogwarts, and she makes sure that everyone knows it. She feels like she has to prove herself in Ravenclaw house a lot of the time, just because she's not really sure if she belongs there. She knows she's intelligent as hell, but she always feels like she might really belong in Slytherin. It's because she's cunning, that she thinks like that. Her mind is always innovating and finding ways around the rules and guidelines that she's given. Maddie has a wonderful sense of humor, she makes jokes and cracks at other peoples expenses a little too often. She doesn't care what other people think often, and if she does, it's always hidden behind a facade of sass and confidence. Madeline isn't going to let someone see her sweat. She tends to be a bit if a wild card though, since she likes to play the game by her own rules, not anyone else's. She doesn't want anyone to rule over her in that way, except for maybe her family. She does try to impress them, or at least fit in with the harsh people she grew up around. Maddie is always rude as hell, and is not like she does it intentionally. Most people just annoy her. She always looses her temper with people, blowing her top and going off on someone in welsh. Odd as it sounds, it happens a lot. Even if she doesn't do it often, Madeline will sometimes go after one person, and do her best to ruin them. She's a wonderful actress, so anything is possible.
The story begins…
Madeline Flynn was the third child of Allison and Felix Flynn. Allison is where Maddie gets her magical genes from. Her mother, a witch, went to Hogwarts for years before leaving and going out into the world. She went into a muggle profession in Cardiff, away from most of her family. She met Felix and fell in love with him on the spot. Both of Maddie's parents are a bit strict. Growing up, Maddie had to act a certain way in order to be accepted in her family. Her brother and sister were older than her, including Elise (5 years older), and Jensen (4 years older). They were both raised the same as her, and fit in more with the strict guidelines. The rules made sense to them... No elbows on the table, speak when spoken to. Boys should be dominant and strong, while girls should be more demure and soft. Maddie just didn't buy it. She wanted to lean her elbows against the table, and she wanted to be the one to start the conversation. She wanted to be strong and loud, to voice her opinions. But her parents would get terribly angry whenever she did. So she was in trouble a lot as a kid, but she honestly found ways around their punishments. It was obvious that she was smart when she was growing up, just by how easily she got herself out of trouble. Even if that meant using a bit of manipulation, that's fine. She didn't mind, as long as she could be a little more free than her parents wanted. They never even used magic in the house, since they all considered it to be frivolous.
Once she was sent to Hogwarts, though, Madeline still felt the sting of her parents influence. Everyone in her family had been a Ravelclaw, so Maddie was sure that she would be one, too. But it didn't work that way. She sat down on that stool and when that hat was placed on her head, it started muttering about a decision. It was saying that she had the traits of both Slytherin and Ravenclaw, and that he wasn't sure where she belonged. Madeline panicked, and decided that even though she didn't want to conform to her family, she at least had to be in the same house as them. So she called to the hat with her mind, asking for Ravenclaw. The hat listened after a moment of making her sweat, and shouted out the name of the house for intelligent students. Maddie smiled as she walked to the long table, but she was a little bit nervous about being there. She seemed to fit in fairly well. A lot of the kids had huge egos, so she fit in okay. She made friends pretty easily, but her friends weren't just in Ravenclaw. She had a lot of friends from Slytherin, too, since she liked their sense of evil. They obviously weren't evil, but they felt sort of, ruthless. Maddie liked that. So she made friends in both houses, and did extremely well in her classes.
One part of Hogwarts that Maddie never fit in with was Quidditch. She's absolutely terrible at it, and whenever she even tries, you'll see her swearing and falling off the broom every minute or so. She hates not being good at something, so you can imagine how she ends up being about the sport. She tells people that she'd rather not watch the games because she has studying to do, or because it's just a stupid sport. But she's really just bitter. She doesn't mean to be, it's just natural, how an overachiever is. Going home every summer is never fun. Her parents expect her to be quiet as a mouse about Hogwarts, and go into some kind of muggle field one day. But Madeline doesn't want that. She wants to be an auror, catch all the bad wizards, like some magical policewoman. She has all the skills, so why not? Her parents don't know anything about her ambitions, they would rather not hear about it probably, so Maddie doesn't tell them. She doesn't tell her siblings either, since they're pretty distant towards her. The two of them are close, but at 21 and 22, they don't see much to talk about with their little sister. Summers to be blunt are torture. But school is always an interesting time for Madeline. She honestly feels left out all the time, but no one would be able to tell with how she acts. She's just not sure if she fits right into either house...

Acting Madeline is a wonderful actress, and has been the star of every Hogwarts production since she came to the school.

Ava McLeod Maddie and Ava have never exactly gotten along. The two clash all the time, since Ava is so sweet and Madeline is, so, not.
Ramona Blackwell A fellow Ravenclaw, Maddie and Ramona have been good friends since they came to Hogwarts. They really like each other, and are basically inseparable when school rolls around.
