I think most are familiar (or at least noticed) Kindle Worlds, which is a way for fans to publish fiction in novella or short story form in a specific universe. It seems like almost every "world" published by Kindle Worlds merits a series per the series guidelines https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3... as they all "have characters and/or universes in common".
The issue I'm having is that the "world" name is in many cases an existing series. Some examples
So my question is, do we want some common ways to name these series? I used "Canon" and "Non-Canon" for The Foreworld Saga, before noticing this is going to be a problem with many others. I suppose the description should also be clear.
My question was more specific. But to answer my own question based on the same principles, call it a "Universe" series? so Dallas Fire & Rescue Universe, The Foreworld Saga Universe, Plundered Chronicles Universe?
