Please do not discuss events from later sections/books. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine.

I am up to Chapter 8, so I'd better comment before I get things mixed up!

So... I had the feeling last book that something was going on with those Iceland craters - and yup! With the little places in the walls holding Lankies- does that imply they are breeding? It certainly sounds like they are being clever with tactics.

He always throws me off. I was figuring this book HAD to jump right into the Mars stuff, but nope! He spends about 25% on the Lankies left on earth. It does seem like it's going to be moving to Mars soon though.

I had the same thoughts Suzanne. When that pod slipped through the ice in the last book (or was it two books ago?) something was going to come of that, seemed like the perfect setup.

It kind of has been the pattern of the last few books in the series so far. Action sequences at the start followed by military/personal stuff until about halfway then all action from there.

I thought the dread of the in-laws was amusing for a 300+ combat drop veteran.

Ha yeah I liked the in-law visit. Some things are just scary.
