How it All Began - Chapters 04-11 (March 2017)

I think this part got a bit slow and I wanted to tell several of the characters to get over themselves already! However, I am assured it picks up again.

I agree Peter, but I don't think this is a book you read for plot drama, for me the best things were the small details (and I did like the characters - one feels that Lively can't bring herself to do anything really unpleasant to them).

I'm only in the middle of this section, but wanted to say that I quite like all of these characters. I like the way their challenges lead to thoughts of their inner lives--his lordship's memory lapses and humiliation, Charlotte about being older, and Anton feeling like an outsider. The pace is slow, but I'm happy with that since I'm enjoying the characters so much.
