Hi, I was wondering after seeing your FAQ section that it normally takes two to three days for the request to come through, does this count weekends or do you mean working days only? As I asked for an author page request on the Friday and it's now Tuesday. I was hoping that it would come through soon as my name is quite common and I don't want people confusing other works with my own.

Hi NoraI clicked on help down the bottom and it says;
Please give us a few business days to process your request. You will receive email confirmation when we successfully upgrade your user account to an author account. Joining the program merges your author page with your member page. The email will also contain further instructions for managing your author profile.
Librarians have no control over author profiles, you will need to contact GR Support.That said it can take a week, depends on how busy the Support queue is
Thanks carol I'll give it a few more days then.Oh but I thought it said to message the librarians to open the author page somewhere? Thanks anyways folks I'll give it more time
Librarians can help add an author's book to the database, or move it from a different author's profile to the right one. Both of which sometimes create a new author profile.
But librarians have nothing to do with the process of claiming said profile.
