Newbie Blogger Looking for Feedback

Hi there!

So I've been blogging for about 3 months now and I'd like to see what others see when they look at my blog, and things that I could work on to improve my blog and hopefully gain some more followers from the improvements!

It looks pretty organised. Perhaps you could spice it up a little? With colours or banners of your fav books and stuff? Goodreads bookshelf, twitter account etc.

It'll be good to cut down on the number of posts per pages so readers don't have to do that much scrolling! More colours and pictures would make it more attractive as well (just don't overload it)

I cut the post number down to 4 or 5 and I'm looking into adding a read more button so that my longer posts aren't affecting the amount of scrolling that readers have to do!

I will be sure to add some more pictures/colors!

I really like your design. The only suggestion I have is to move the Search This Blog bar up so visitors do not have to search for it.

Hmmm... I like it! I do think the left sidebar is really big though... particularly the header.

Perhaps you could also move the buttons to another page? It would help with page loading time. :)

Hi Aly! I like the color scheme, and the social media icons you've chosen--it all goes nicely. The first image on the left sidebar is a little big. I would decrease the size to help balance it with the other images. Oh, and I would add a color background behind the tabs at the top to make them pop a bit. Just my two cents. Nice blog! I could certainly move the buttons. I was thinking about doing something because it makes my page much longer than it has to be. But I couldn't figure out what to do with them! Thanks for the suggestion Sophia!

I think everything on the left column is a bit too big. I think perhaps it would be good to make the posts a bit smaller (as they show previews on the right hand column). Besides that I love it! The theme is pretty cool :)

EDIT: Okay, so I got the blog archive to be a dropdown menu instead of the nestled list it was. I think that helped a bit!
