P O W E R SCocky, snarky, flirtatious — Oliver Cremorne, at first glance. Stubborn, disrespectful, rational — not things people tend to associate with him. But if you catch Liv in the middle of something, it becomes more apparent. Once he's in the zone, it's very difficult to get him out of it. Three seconds to defuse a bomb, twelve to hack into the Pentagon ( well he's only Level 6, they were hardly going to hand him the information ). Some people have commented that he seems wasted in Science and Technology, but he'd beg to disagree — he prefers to save the undercover sneaking around for his spare time.death touch [ ✩✩✩✩✩ ] - he can kill people with a touch — and fortunately for him he's pretty good at controlling it, otherwise there'd be a few dead bodies lying around S.H.I.E.L.D.
▽ P E R S O N A
His power inflicts pain and death — one might expect it would make him avoid human contact. And he does, when he's not in the right frame of mind to be controlling it, but even before S.H.I.E.L.D found him he was pretty good at controlling it — it only kills people if he lets it. But, needless to say, the years before he got a handle on his power were, ah... disturbing. He wore long sleeves in summer, and that should really be all the hint you need. There was that one time during PE... but he's tried to forget his past — he really doesn't need it being brought up.p r o s || coding, talking × pretty boys, computersFor the first fifteen years of his life, Oliver Cremorne wore long-sleeved shirts in summer and kept as far away from people as possible. Because the one time he forgot to, the one time he went anywhere near another human being, they ended up in hospital. He didn't kill his parents — they died in a car crash, like every other tragic accident that killed a rich person.

S K I L L S E Thacking - oliver can hack into pretty much anything within a minute — he gets mildly offended when people say that he's not that good; he's better than felicity smoak ( if you ask him ).
coding - you name a program, a language, a microcontroller, an operating system, odds are he can code it. look, you don't get to clearance level six without actual skill, especially not if you're a sci/tech agent.
flirting - when you need information you can't just hack into — look, some people still prefer paper — flirting becomes an actually useful skill. even though technically he's got a desk job, S.H.I.E.L.D aren't responsible for what he does with his spare time.
maths & physics - some things just make sense, and to oliver maths and physics are those things. comes in handy when he's trying to build miniature supercomputershe's a nerd, don't judge him.

▽ R E C O R D S
For the first fifteen years of his life, he was Oliver Cremorne, heir to a fortune, the recluse, the weird kid that never touched anyone — some people theorised he was a germaphobe. Then, on his fifteenth birthday ( beware the Ides of March... ) his parents died in a car crash, his classmate was hospitalised, and the rumours stopped getting whispered.
He learnt to control his power within a month, started going by Liv — yes, it sounds like a girl's name, but do you think he didn't notice that? — and got a boyfriend. People talked — as they do — and they promptly forgot about the events of the previous year. Then he graduated, got found by S.H.I.E.L.D, rapidly moved up the ranks. Some theorise it's because of his ability, some think it's because of his skill with technology.
Perhaps it's a bit of both.![]()

Emilie is easily one of the kindest people in SHIELD. She tries to always have a kind word for everyone, and makes sure new people feel safe going to her for help if they need it. She genuinely cares for others, and makes sure others know that. The most common adjective used by others to describe Emilie is “sweet”, and she lives up to it. As goes along with her kindness, Emilie can often be a rather soft-spoken person. Generally, Emilie isn’t one to voice her opinions or thoughts unless called upon, though she has become accustomed to the quick rapport at SHIELD. While used to this, though, Emilie is not exactly comfortable with it. Emilie typically keeps her words kind and simple, only voicing what she really feels once at home. The only people who can get Emilie irritated in any sense, to their face, are those who are arrogant and self-centered.
However, Emilie is tougher than one might expect. She is a SHIELD agent, after all. She has to have some degree of toughness to even be able to do her job. Emilie may be kind, but if you talk down to her, or treat her with even ounce less respect than she deserves, she can and will tear you to shreds. She won’t stand for being badly treated. Plus, there is that martial arts skill to contend with. Really, it’s best not to be on Emilie’s bad side. However, Emilie is rather impatient, rare for a scientist. She wants results immediately, and has a hard time waiting for them. It’s not something she likes about herself, but she can't help it.

U N childhood
Emilie is the younger of two siblings, her older brother Richard being six years older than she. Emilie was a bit of a surprise baby, as her parents hadn't expected to have another child. But, Emilie did come along, and she was a very welcome addition to the family. It was obvious from an early age that Emilie was very intelligent. She was talking before most kids her age, and got her hands on her first book when she was one and half. She taught herself to read from it, which startled her parents. When she started school, Emilie was already years ahead of the other kids, and was bumped up several grades. Her parents insisted she remain with kids closer to her own age, however. Either way, Emilie left elementary school at the age of seven, and that was when the homeschooling started. She started taking karate around the same time, simply because she wanted to. She was good at the art, as well as proving herself good at learning. She most loved the sciences, they made sense to her. Though she didn't like the long waiting she had to do.
D U E X adolescence
Emilie was fourteen when she started attending MIT. At first, it was difficult. Not the work, the general atmosphere. None of the older students seemed to accept Emilie, despite the fact that she wasn't the first young teenager to attend the school. Eventually, though, they got used to her, and she settled. Emilie was seventeen when she graduated, not only with a Master’s, but with a PHD. She was going to be a biochemist. With an interest in physics. Because there was never too much to learn, right? Soon after graduation, she was sought out for jobs. Most were what she had expected, but there was one that wasn't. SHIELD was interested in her. Emilie had heard of SHIELD before, but not in any detail. However, it didn't take her long to decide to take their offer.
T R O I S adulthood
Emilie did well in SHIELD, becoming one of the organization's top scientists. She worked with the training school for a while, and then moved to research, sometimes reporting directly to the Director. Emilie continued to do well at work, becoming a trusted scientist - not to mention providing backup in combat situations.

Faceclaim: Tom Ellis
Personality:The best way to describe Valentine is a jack of all trades. He can do a lot, and a lot he can do well. He has a charm about him. People would think he is a perfect package. But that is just a shell, or a paper bag he puts on so no one can tell what he is feeling or thinking. In honesty he is a man full of hate, bitter at the world for being so cruel. To those he generally calls friend sees his true self and a lot don't like it, as he is just an ass. The only peolpe he is actually nice to are children, as they are just more blunt and honest, hardly ever being devious. From his time in around the globe he is very culture and can get cocky about the fact he knows a couple of languages and has eaten just about everything.
Relations: Gilmore Ripley(father)
Historical Biography: Valentine grew up in a suitcase. That's how it was. His father was Au pair, so they traveled a lot. About every two years he would move to a new town or even a new country. His biological mother was never in the picture, as she was a crack addict, at least, that's what his father told him. The place he spent the longest was New Zealand and New York. His time in New Zealand was his father's last job with Valentine, and they stayed there until he was 17, he was 12 at the time. The family was a lovely, richer family, who had heard of Gilmore's services and hired him to teach and live with them and their 5 children. He had a blast, one time, he was going to the local pool in the town he was in, and a snake had slithered up to him. He freaked out and stomped it's head in. after that, he was very careful where he steps and has a fear of snakes ((ophiophobia). After Valentine father's contract was up, they decided they wanted to settle down, so they set up a map, threw a dart and it landed on New York.
In New York, they had it kinda rough, but they live they found a crappy home next to a factory. His father went to work at that factory while Valentine went to do his senior year of high school and got a very high GPA score. He didn't have to try in school and was a class clown, he was just bored of it all. he then followed his father to the factory. It was when he was 24 was when his father retired. At the time he had a way with technology. He could take apart a DVD player and build it again in 5 minutes flat, he had it timed. S.H.I.E.L.D picked him up with the age of 27. He quick made his way through their ranks with his natural brilliance and the fact he would do nothing but work and/or eat. Now he is a bit more laid back, giveing himself some time to talk with others and you know, be a normal human being.
