Moshe Trotman | 19 comments Hi, Polly, I have a clean love story: 56,000 words. The problem is, I need a quick turn around time.

message 6: by Polly (new)

Polly Zetterberg | 75 comments Hi Moshe-
Well, what is quick for you? I might be able to read it in 2 weeks.
Has it been edited, read by other readers?
Let me know.
Polly

message 7: by Moshe (new)

Moshe Trotman | 19 comments It's only been edited by me, based on instructions from my editor.

message 8: by Moshe (new)

Moshe Trotman | 19 comments To be honest, based on feedback from a reader, you may finish it faster than that, lol. I hope it's as good for you as she expressed it to be. She's really encouraged me about it. So I'm hoping you'll have an easy time with it. I can discuss further elsewhere. Thanks for your replies so much, mam.

Hi Polly. I just finished my post apocalyptic story that follows an eighteen year old male and a twelve year old girl searching for a safe haven. Would you care to read for me?

Polly Zetterberg | 75 comments Hi Bilal-
I'm afraid that your genre is just not my genre.
Best wishes to you with your book,
Polly

Meg Reid | 19 comments Hi, Polly -

I'm looking for beta Read for my 65,000 word memoir. Here's the blurb. Thanks! Megrreid@gmail.com

Better to leave than be left behind. I'd learned this lesson before I'd started first grade from the backseat of my grandma's Buick as it drove away from our shack in the Smoky mountains, doing our best to leave my dad and all his anger in our past. Years later, it was inevitable that when I found myself 24 years old and married to a perfectly good but wrong-for-me man, that nothing would stop me from moving on. Turns out that walking out on my marriage was the first step in a journey of self-discovery which would heal the wounds of my broken childhood, teach me to take risks and trust myself and lead me to a purposeful life. My path, while not logical or well thought out, took me to law school before leading me back to marriage and family, now as a different person having accomplished my own version of the feminist American dream.

Nathan Bush | 3 comments Hey Polly,
I have a Christian crime novel, around 112,000 words, if you'd be interested in giving it a go. There is also a preview up if you would like to see what it's about. Written in Blood

Thanks for your consideration,

Lori Armstrong | 7 comments Hi Polly,

I am hoping you can help.

I have co-authored a memoir, Behind the Gates of Neverland: My Conversations with Michael Jackson, after meeting Michael's friend, who manged his Neverland Ranch. The book is a heartwarming display of the human and generous side of Michael.
The memoir is only 22,000 words and will also include several never-seen-before pictures of Michael and Neverland.

Thank you for your time and the consideration.

Regards,

Lori

SB | 52 comments Hello Polly, I hope you are well.

I am currently looking for beta readers to take a look at my completed YA story, A Crimson Tide - a dark fantasy fairy tale retelling with romantic elements! The word count is 75K approx. Please PM me if you are interested. The description is below:

Anna White is certain that the murders in the village are down to more than just wild animal attacks. Suspicious of the village elites, Anna uses the attention of the Mayor's son, Caleb, to her advantage. When Anna uncovers a deep secret about the creature on the outskirts of the village, she cannot trust anyone. She must protect her father and the rest of her village, while battling the seduction of the dark forest.

Thank you for your consideration! Have a lovely day x

Michele Gardiner (httpslinktreemichele_writer) Hi Polly,

Would you be interested in beta reading my manuscript?

I have a 60,000 word, non fiction story compilation/memoir called "Craving Normal" - a collection of stories about being born to suburbanites who veered way off and transformed into nude-beach-loving, world-traveling-hippies, and other adventures of growing up during the “Me Generation,” and beyond. They're all separate tales covering many decades.

If you're interested, I have more info in my profile.

Thanks,

Michele

message 18: by Brian (new)

Brian Mannix | 11 comments Hey Polly, how are you? I have a rather unique 86K word memoir:

"From The Chaos" is the extraordinary account of an award winning teacher's journey into the heart of politics, race, fear and the indomitable power of the status quo. Triggered into action by his eyewitness account of tanks on the streets of Ferguson after Michael Brown's death, this is the story of a man who took an enormous leap of faith. After quitting his teaching career, Brian tested the limits of power with an effort to make a documentary film about a run for President of the United States in the midst of the Charleston massacre.

In this astonishing memoir, Brian details how he was imprisoned by the South Carolina State Police and placed into solitary confinement for "trespassing" at a Charleston hotel the night after his campaign publicly called for the Confederate Flag at the steps of the state capital to be flown at half mast. There was one demand for his release: give up his candidacy for President."

Let me know if you're interested.
