So today was a packed day! It was my sister's 13th birthday, so we got a...semi-early start. Breakfast/lunch was a Chinese buffet where the food ended up terrible. We loved that place! But the food was eh, my sister found a dead spider in her jello, and it was just...not what it used to be. Very disappointing :/
Then we went to a petstore and my baby sister fell in love with a little hamster that looked like a white baby mouse. We didn't get it, thank God, but it was cute how much she liked it.
After that, we hightailed it back to town where I had to sign papers so that they could drug test me and do a background check. Oral fluid test, btw. It was disgusting. But eh. (Later on my sister tells me after 13+ years of opening at 10:00, the library I'm going to be working on will be opening at 9:00 come september -_-)
Then we went about half an hour up the road so that we could take a ferry across the river as something different. It was broken >.< But when the time it was supposed to leave rolled around, they said it was fixed and just needed the Coast Guard to give them the go ahead.....which took another half hour (after a full one of waiting).
But the ride was fun! It was just us, our grandparents, and two other guys who didn't seem to like us very much lol Their loss.
Coming out on the other side of the river, we drove past a phosphate mine, which was really cool even though we couldn't see much. Then more driving.
Walked around a nice classy town after that, one with lots of bear statues. Found out that one really old one got stolen! It's awful! >.< I hope they catch the jerk that took it.
Then we drove to get dinner, cake, and then home. Apparently, I hurt my knee with how I sit in the car. It sucks.
Best part of the day: turns out that I only have two assignments this week!!
Reminds me of when my middle brother said he wanted a 'sweet sixteenth' birthday and I jokingly told him those were only for girls and he punched me in the stomach haha.Other then that...I feel bad because I did absolutely nothing today >.< Just like always.

I didn't have one because Mom tried to pull that stupid 'i don't have the time nor money' excuse on me, but we didn't have very much money or time when his sixteenth birthday came along and he still ended up having a large party. You can probably imagine what my reaction was.
For my 16th birthday I took two friends and one of my cousins to Thunder Valley, which is like Chuck E Cheese but not as kiddy and it has go karts.I didn't do much either...just worked and played games.
OH! I did buy a really cool skin for a character.

I still remember mine because we were moving at the time, and I asked Mom if she could at least buy me a little something like a cake, but she didn't want to. I spent the day cleaning out my room and packing the rest of it up. When they came to help take out my mattress, I discovered a rat had been living in my room under my bed and I started to cry and have a mental breakdown, but Mom said I was just lying to get attention from the movers, even though I had evidence of it. Grandma Lorraine found me and tried to calm me down by taking me into the kitchen and giving me a real silver bracelet with a heart on it that my late great-grandmother received as a gift for her own sixteenth birthday, and I instantly put it on and didn't take it off for the rest of the day.
That was very kind of your grandma.
