One of the most frustrating things a roleplayer can do is delay a plot point with a needless "cute" moment, but don't have any plans for it at all. Then when it gets boring, rather than owning up to the fact that they had literally no idea what to do, they ask if you (the person who wanted to get to the story meat) if you have any ideas. Like, no?? That's why I wanted to fast forward??
