I kinda want to give up on sleep, seriously. I've tried all I can think of, but every time I try to close my eyes, I hear some strange noise and I think something is going to come try and kill me. I'm being totally serious. I hate not being able to sleep in my room and I'm seconds away from doing it anyway. I need to work tomorrow, and I need to be up in five and a half hours to get there, and that's being generous

Yeah, it didn't. I ended up sleeping in the chair in my parents' room and waking up every half hour because my bedroom looked like a horror video game without the shades on the window and the door cracked.

Oh and today wasn't great either. I almost had an emotional breakdown at lunch and literally the only good thing that happened was when I got my summer reading program t-shirt.

Oh and I had left my phone at home so it wasn't even like I could talk to someone during my breakdown. It was really a lovely day.

Okay so we have so many YA books about XX who has to take down [Evil Power] and save their country/world-as-they-know-it with her love interest XY who eventually falls in love with her or vice versa and stuff happens before they finally win the whole thing and blah blah blah.

Riddle me this: Why are there literally no good movies/TV series around about this topic? Like, I want to see an epic fantasy tale about a kick-butt princess/generic-heroine and her right hand dude saving the world?? And not the Hunger Games please?
