Because I find them annoying and unneeded. I hated them even as a kid.

Yeah my mom is really emo and that's how she used to dress me.
I've tried being emo- but it didn't really go with me. :/. My sister doesn't even try, and it goes great with her.
I hate being emo. Or gothic or whatever. I need color in my life. But I hate it when people tell me I can't like anime or be really geeky because I just happen to wear tons of pink, and am really popular.
it sucks people think they already know you enough to assume that.
Hence why I keep my anime-loving, geeky nature to myself.
I do the opposite, actually. I show my book warm, physco self to everyone lol.
My mom just gets me graphic tees with bad puns. Mostly because I ask her to 😂
I think my mother gave up on dressing me when I was about 8. I would just not wear the clothes she got me and it was wasteful. So I just started picking out my own clothes. My grandmother, on the other hand, didn't stop trying to pick my clothes until.....last year?
My mom stopped trying to get me clothing when I was...twelve? My God mother gives my sister and I the exact same things for Christmas. Always the same pair of jeans or Shoes.

They aren't that bad...unless you are exactly the same (Anything) size, and they think your things are theirs.
And girls can tend to be brattier. Not to mention that there's more tears and high pitched screaming.
My baby brother legit asked me that this afternoon and I replied really sarcastically: "Yes Christian, yes I do!" And he gave me this look of utter shock lol My mom nearly died laughing at us XD

A month ago I had a cold sore and told Mom so, and my baby brother overheard me and asked if that meant I had herpes, and I responded in a sarcastic tone that I did have herpes, and he asked: "Who'd you get it from?! Your boyfriend?! He gonna die!!!" Lol
