So apparently our heat isn't working :/
My mom's friend hasn't had heat in her house this whole winter, and we've been having wind chills of -35 here

Wow, why is everyone ganging up on me? I swear, today and yesterday all people have done is get on my case for the littlest things. Half the time I was just trying to joke around. It was bad enough my mom yelled at me for it. Okay, so maybe some of the jokes weren't funny. But it's honestly so annoying and so hard to have people getting on your case and snapping at you for practically nothing. My feelings were already hurt from Mom snapping at me earlier, so how do you think I feel coming in here and finding all of this on here? I'm honestly about to cry. And maybe I do deserve to feel this way, but that's still a very crappy thing to say to someone. And you all wonder why I'm the way I am.
And this hurts me even more because people have said much worse things to me, have made me stay away from this site and none of my friends on here ever stood up for me or anything. So you know, whatever.
Today was interesting at work. We were really busy but apparently with not many people? Of course the one person I wanted to see didn't come in >.< Because, why not? Apparently we weren't set to open until 10, meaning that I got out of the house an hour too early, but it's fine, because we got stuff done during that hour.
We disposed of our so called 'voodoo onion' with no obvious repercussions yet, but it got me thinking. If voodoo doesn't work when you don't believe in it...don't you have to believe that it's true in order to believe that it won't work on you if you don't believe? Anyway, that's confusing.
I'm adding and adding to my to-read pile, but at least Talon is getting....somewhat good.

I'm just not a big fan of how Ember talks about "her dragon" or "the dragon" like it's not what she is.
Haha I kind of get that part, actually. Because when she is a dragon, she isn't herself. She has no control of her actions, but you'll get that in the second or third book.

I dunno, that still doesn't convince me. Even if she isn't 'herself' it's still a part of her, which makes it weird for her to be talking about it like a whole separate entity. Plus, she doesn't think of herself as "the human" while she's a dragon.

I feel like you would like EXID tbh they use a lot of pink and cutesy stuff, with some serious edge to their music. Red Velvet is a lot like that too imo
