Mom wants to see The Last Jedi but I don't really want to because I know by the time I'll see it you and Hunter will have seen it already so what's the point I won't have bragging rights lol

I think someone in the UU chat spoiled it despite me saying several times that I didn't want them to because I hadn't seen it yet, and you and Hunter changed the topic or something.
I just watched the Paper Towns movie and I......am not sure what to think of it honestly. I just know it was really good. Makes me want to read the book, but I don't know if I can handle it haha
There's nothing to get in Fault in Our Stars. And I actually liked Paper Towns(book) the girl reminded me a lot of myself.
It's completely different. I was worried it would be cookie cutter, but this one was worlds better than the Fault in Our Stars imoI found it funny that the guy who played Gus was in this movie.
I had to watch Fault in Our stars because it was something all the preteen girls in my youth group picked to watch for our movie night before one of our breaks lol
i didn't cry and my mom AND ENglish teacher called me heartless :pI didn't get a lot of what Gus was talking about. It all went over my head, along with the entire trip to Amsterdam. I know it was to see their favorite author, but...why did they like the book so much exactly? And was there some sort of message behind the author's attitude?
For one of our book club field trips we went to see Divergent in theaters and it was a set of twins' birthday that day. They got a birthday cake made to look like books!
I always thought the author being the way he was was supposed to show that people idolize their favorite celebrities, no matter who they are and see them as people who can do no wrong, but when they actually meet them they find out they have faults and often tend to be jerks? I'm tired I don't know lol
Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ wrote: "This is exactly why I loved writing essays in English I can find meaning in literally anything lol"You should have seen a project i did for English. I BS'd so much!
I said "Percy Jackson taught me that it doesn't matter where you come from or who your parents are-it's what you do that makes you who you are"
ANd then i had put "Anakin taught me that love can be dangerous and sometimes we need to let go for the greater good"
Ėvėĺîň wrote: "Now I'm finally going to watch Allegient haha"I never even read the book :p Insurgent confused me to no end, but that's.. not really..surprising...at this point..

No. I got vegan doughnuts instead. Mom kept saying she would make me one but she never did.
I remember for my seventeenth birthday Mom wanted to make me a chocolate cake with my favorite character group from Hetalia(the Eastern Europeans) printed on top and then write on the cake: "Eastern Europe says 'Happy Birthday Elizabeth'!" I'm still waiting for that cake.
I think the author in TFIOS was important in the story because it shows you how one deals with their pain. I think his daughter was the girl in the book with cancer- which explains why he didn't like Hazel, since she reminded him of her. Of how something could ruin something so beautiful lol. And that regardless of how his daughters life ended, his life must go on. Just like Hazels should go on, after Augustus's death.
☣ ᕮɱƿՐ૯ςς S૯Րค ☣ wrote: "Also: If you do watch the movie, tell me if she dies lol"What do you mean? I know they have to make changes from book to move, but they usually keep stuff like that the same :p
