I don't wanna join another Selection group!! Me joining those are like an automatic sign they'll die lol
THEN KILL IT AND THEM WITH IT Sorry I'm bitter, but I really want this group to work lol I can't handle this.
I think the reason why the Selection groups die- besides the fact many didn't read the books, is because we all kind of have to depend in each other there, unlike in other groups where you can do your own thing.
Kanato looks good in punk
And I shan't tell you lolSo like, all these people spend ??? time on all these brainstorms and I'm just like, "start making the freaking character already??? You're wasting your time????" I'm sorry, but these people do life, right?

I literally choked on my food when I read this lol
I feel like The Selection was a really popular series? Like most people I know on GoodReads have read at least the first three, regardless of whether they liked it or not.

My female choir friends got me hooked on it. Well it was more like they sorta explained it and said "you probably wouldn't like it because you're a boy" then while i was waiting for my dad to pick me up from school I started reading the first and talked about it with some of those female classmates who were quite excited to see me enjoying it.
I swear that if my idea gets picked against instead, I'm going to the mod about this. Because not to be a baby, but it's really disheartening if everything I try to claim is given to someone else. Like, why try?
Ėvėĺîň wrote: "the two last books sucked, honestly lol. I liked America better."They didn't suck! I liked Eadlyn better in some respects but the storyline was totally predictable by the end of the first.
I didn't like her at all >_<. She was so stubborn, rude and always complained about people calling her a bad future queen. Not even her father was that way!I liked some parts of the story, though. When her brother and whats-his-name came out haha.
I thought she was kinda bratty, but not NEARLY as bad as whats-her-face from Kiss Kill Vanish. At least Eadlyn TRIED to do SOMETHING

I get that she tried being independent and stuff, but come on! America always did good lol. She did everything I would have (Minus the Chase after whatshisface) XD.

Agreed. I'm all for strong female characters, but she was stretching it. A bit too brash and hot headed for such a position as queen if you ask me.
I hated Celeste for a while, but at the end i was really sad! ANd someone spoiled what happens to me ;(
thank you! lol. The only good book I can remember did something like that was the hungergames. I think I just hate bratty, annoyingly sensitive characters >_<. Like that girl from the fifth wave...
If you hate bratty characters, stay away from Kiss KIll Vanish like the plague. I'm not kidding. MOst of the book the girl sits in her tiny room ((they call it a closet but I don't know if that's literal)) and complains about how much better her life used to be and how she wants her boyfriend to come rescue her. Uggggh.I only finished that book because i needed to do a book report on something.
I liked that Eadlyn was different. She seriously had issues in it, yeah, but I'd rather her be that way than little miss perfect, America the second.
In the last two, I really felt like America was being portrayed like this amazing, perfect super woman, and it bothered me >.< haha I don't think anyone can say that about Eadlyn.
