It is time to start nominations for our group reads for Spring 2017.

What would you like to read for discussion? I am opening this up to anything (regular and classic and whatever else), so feel free to nominate anythings, new releases, older releases, old classics, popular books, thought provoking books, non-fiction books, etc.

We will read the top vote receivers, whatever they may be!

If you nominate a book, please be willing and available to lead the discussion if the book is selected.

Hi Nawar. We just read Homegoing in October. You can read the thread here if you would like. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Do you have another book you are interested in nominating?

Petra I'll nominate A Town Like Alice.

Our next two reads will be It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis, discussion leader Irene, and Me Before You, by Jojo Moyes, discussion leader Kasey.

Irene, since you are currently leading both of the discussions going on currently, would you like a break for a month, and we can let "Me Before You" be our next read, and follow with "It Can't Happen Here" in a month? I don't want to burn you out with leading (though it is great that you keep nominating books that many want to read!). Let me know.

Irene | 4585 comments Yes, that would be great since Kristin Lavrensdatter will be going for quite some time.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I just finished Me Before You.

message 16: by Irene (new)

Irene | 4585 comments I read it quite a while ago, good book.

message 17: by Kasey (new)

Kasey | 98 comments Okay! So I will be leading Me Before You next. Sheila - when should I plan to start this?

Excellent. Kasey, when is best for you to start. Anytime in April works. We can start on the 1st, in 2 weeks, as I think this book should be pretty readily available for people to get their hands on. Or you can start the discussion mid month if you would like a little time to prepare. I am fine with either. :-)

message 19: by Kasey (new)

Kasey | 98 comments I can go ahead and plan for beginning of April!!! :-)

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I just recently read it.
