Page count by columns

What do I do when a book (dictionary) has its page numbers given in columns, i.e. 2 per page?

Go with the page numbers as shown in the book.

That's the problem. There are no page numbers, only column numbers,

The way I see it, books like that count each physical page as having two (virtual) pages.
