What was your overall opinion of the story? Do you plan to continue the series?

I loved The Bodyguard series so I am so surprised that this didn't do it for me. I own all the paperbacks so I should probably give it one more chance.

I'll continue because I love the plots and the characters. Cindy Gerard is also an awesome author.

I liked it enough to continue.

Because it was Cindy Gerard I gave it 3 stars. If it was anyone else it may have gotten a 2 from me. I really think that my negativity came from being lost in the beginning. I felt like I was walking into a movie theater with the movie being half over. I also read this immediately after Whisper of Warning which I loved. I don't do well reading suspense back to back. I should have put a romance in between.

Me too! I need to read a romance after intense romantic-suspense books.

Laura, almost half of the previous book was about Gabe and Jenna. No wonder you were lost. A lot happened to Jenna in that story and Gabe's persona as Archangel was laid out very well.

I should have done a re-read.

I will continue for at least the next one or two. I have some on my own shelf, so I'll see how they read.

I'll definitely continue. I'm invested in the other members of BOI, and of course I need to see how Nate and Juliana plays out.

I enjoyed the romance and the suspense plot although the ending felt rushed and lacked foundation. I wanted more on how Gabe came to realize that he needed to be with Jenna and that he deserved to be happy.

I am very interested in Juliana and Nate’s HEA.
