Were you ever suspicious of Jenna's assignment? When did it occur to you that she was connected to the attack?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I wasn't suspicious. I thought it was a really good way for her to get back in the game. I also didn't think the attack was aimed at her.

Laura I was not suspicious either.

I was just a teeny bit suspicious as everything happened when she showed up. But, I talked myself out of it.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I kept wondering why Maxim asked for her specifically. How would he even know anything about her work as a journalist? It was suspicious to me.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments She was a world renowned journalist with a superior reputation, I didn't suspect a thing until they encountered baddies in her hotel room.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I was not suspicious when she was singled out; oh, I had a tiny qualm, but nothing that wasn't brushed aside.

Of course I knew she would walk into trouble sometime early in the book.

I thought this too but I wasn't suspicious about it right away. If Jenna was the target, why would Maxim put himself in danger too at the scene? So then I started thinking maybe there was another third party behind it, which was confirmed when she and Gabe were attacked at her hotel room. Though I still didn't know exactly who it was.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I was suspicious after the attack and thought she had been lured to Argentina by Maxim because he was involved with MC6.
