I would definitely recommend reading the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. The first book in the series is called Cinder.

The first books that pulled me out of my post-Harry depression were the Hunger Games novels. Of course, you have to be into that kind of thing, but it's what worked for me. :)
The Infernal Devices, Percy Jackson, Lunar Chronicles. Most YA Fantasy is a good thing to read after HP, as the series begins to enter into YA territory itself.
