Okay- I went on, sometimes I find a button to join. I didn't see one- so I send a message. Is that how we join the site?

Groovy Lee I absolutely love the site. And it is easy to navigate. What am I supposed to do?

Also, can I add one more book since we can have two? It's a Romantic/Suspense--Thanks!

Go to the other thread titled "Book of the Year List". There is a brief description at the top. That is where you can list you book information for the event. This thread was created to discuss the event and keep entries from being lost in discussions.

Alexis is getting the site up and running right now so you haven't missed it yet. We need more authors. :)

Good. Nice to meet you too. You're welcome Angel, can you tell me under which genres you want me to feature your book? I can't add it all those you listed, I'm afraid lol. I will add them to your blurb though!

Hey Lyra, yes I added them after seeing your post in the other thread. Yes, you can add whatever you want. I won't be adding the Facebook pages until tomorow though because I'm trying to get cute clip arts for the links but my ipad is not cooperating.

Lol. I was going to forbid you from reading my book, Carole. But you read Amy's so mine won't be too out of the norm. Lol.

Alexis | 861 comments No, you're right. I thought about it too and I will definitely add prices. I just didn't want to add them yet because I don't know what everyone's prices will be on the day(s) of the event. I don't want to fill in the price and then have to change it later, you know? But I will definitely add prices and banners (e.g. Free, reduced, bargain.) on the cover and bookpages.

Groovy, if you have time, I'd love an interesting article on anything writing related. It doesn't have to be long. There's no deadline either so you can take your time.

Please consider the fact that some of us would love to help out but might be newbies at promotion. While I'll be willing to contribute when funds needed are determined, it's the other things I'm not sure about. If anyone has time to spell it out, please let me know exactly what I can do to help with this promotion.

Not a problem- CC- that's why we have the back space button- to erase the boo boos- We are going to need blog posts- so writing something up about writing- maybe even about your day job and what happens when you come home and switch jobs- anything that would be interesting. We will need stuff to keep the blog current and what other writers will want to read.

Am I right guys?

message 93: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee Alexis, I will do my darnest not to let you down. I'll get to work on that.

Question: When is the deadline for authors to sign up and have their books listed? Thank-you!

message 94: by Carole (new)

Carole P. Roman | 4665 comments Mod
I don't think we have a deadline- do we guys?

message 95: by Alexis (last edited Feb 24, 2017 03:19PM) (new)

Alexis | 861 comments Carole wrote: "I don't think we have a deadline- do we guys?"

We will soon! We will probably stop accepting submissions 7 days before the event? What do you all think?

In other news, ERIN has been helping out with the site and added a pretty cool submission tool in the sidebar.

In other cool news, the Author Directory is UP, with working links for everyone. Check your page out and let me know if everything links to where they're supposed to link. P.S. The book titles are clickable too. (Is clickable even a word? Lol.)

We're almost there. :D
