"I don't speak Italian," Taylor said, beginning to pace. "However, I'm great with Latin and Greek roots. Amo...sounds similar to the root amor, meaning love. The 'la' part of it...I suppose amo is feminine." Taylor continued pacing, not looking at Marissa. "Now, either I'm wrong - which would be embarrassing - or I'm right - also embarrassing." Taylor stopped and stared at Marissa. "You told your mother that you loved me in Italian, didn't you?"

"The unconscious woman on the floor is the homocidal mother of the girl to your left and the boy at the back of the room. She tried to poison Taylor with the assistance of the girl next to Ryan, and failed. After realizing this, she tried to kill both Ryan and Taylor and was thwarted by the same girl I was just talking about. So...not much," Simon explained.

Taylor closed the door. "She's not good at the whole speaking thing, especially around strangers," Taylor explained. Amy punched her sister in the arm, blushing fiercely.

Amy frowned, examining Taylor. She reached into the pocket of one her bags and pulled out a stele. She drew the rune for blood loss, as well as an iratze on Taylor's neck. "Liar," she whispered.

A bit of the color had returned to Taylor's face, but she still looked a bit pale. Amy cocked her head. "What else did you do?"
"Nothing. I'm fine," Taylor insisted stubbornly.

Amy gave Taylor a hard look and Taylor glanced guilty at her stomach. Amy lifted Taylor's shirt and began to clean up the messily healing wound.

Ben came down the stairs looking quite surprised. "Ryan? Taylor? Amy?"

"Marissa and Taylor made out," Amber supplied. Simon bit back a laugh, and Amy was shocked out of her stupor. "Taylor did what?" she demanded, her volume surprising everyone.

"What's up with your hair, Amber? You kinda look like you've just rolled out of bed," Ben said. "Probably 'cause I did," Amber admitted sheepishly.
