"Yes," Marissa and Daniel said in unison.
Marissa elaborated. "Aria would do something like this. Most defiantly. Amber might have been misled. Aria can be very...persuading."

Taylor woke up in a room that looked suspiciously like a hospital. There was a boy in there, about her age, and if Taylor wasn't lesbian, she probably would've thought he was cute. "Taylor!" the boy exclaimed, jumping up and rushing to Taylor's side. He grabbed her face and his hands and kissed her.
***

***
Needless to say, Jace wasn't the ONLY Herondale who'd ended up punching someone that day. "Ow! What was that for?" The boy yelped, rubbing his jaw.
"Who the hell are you, and where am I?" Taylor countered.
***

***
"It's Jordan. You don't remember me?" The boy- Jordan - looked hurt. And not just because Taylor had punched him in the face.
***

Hayley nodded to Clary. "It's fine. Most of them dispersed after she came in," Hayley said, pointing to Amber.
***
Taylor shook her head. "Should I?"

Clary's eyes widened; she'd forgotten. "Izzy...do you think we should consult Magnus?"
***
"I think so. We have been dating for a few months now," Jordan replied.
"Dating?" Taylor sputtered. "But I-I'm lesbian! And not to mention, completely single!"
"Taylor, that life...it was all made up. In your head," Jordan said.
***

***
"No. No. If anything here is made up, it's you," Taylor said shakily, pointing at Jordan.
Jordan gently folded Taylor's hand back. "You hit your head rather hard a little while back. Started hallucinating. Your mom and dad brought you here," he explained.
Taylor shook her head. "No. Nononononono..."
**

***
"I-I'll go get a doctor," Jordan said, leaving Taylor staring in disbelief.
***

***
A physician entered the room right before Jordan. "Miss Taylor. I am afraid what Jordan here says is true."
Taylor looked up from her muttering. "I refuse to stand for this-this absurdity! Where are my parents and who the hell are you?" Taylor demanded,
"Calm down, miss. Everything is going to be okay." The doctor patted Taylor's shoulder and attempted to assuage her. Taylor shoved the strange man into the wall, taking Jordan with him. The doctor pulled a syringe out from his pocket. "Now Taylor, I don't want to have to do this. But I will if I must," he warned.
"No. Don't you touch me!" At some point, two other men had entered the room and were restraining Taylor. "No-let me - " The doctor shoved the syringe into Taylor's arm, and everything went black.

Taylor awoke awhile later, surrounded by expectant faces. "Mom? Dad?"
***

***
"Taylor! How are you, sweetie?" Clary asked, talking to Taylor like she was mentally ill - which, in this world, was probably the case. She reached out her arms for a hug.
Taylor scooted away from Clary's grasp. "Don't touch me."
***

***
"Taylor, everything is going to be okay. Just listen to your doctor," Jace assuaged. Taylor's darted back and forth from Jace to Clary to the doctor to Jordan. "Y-you're not real. This-this is fake. I don't know what I did, but-" Taylor was cut off by a sharp pain. She clutched her head, as a wave of memories washed over her. Who Jordan was- who all of these people were, and how she fit in here. "What have you done?" she demanded.
***

***
"What do you mean?" Doctor-person asked. Taylor looked even more nervous. "You know what I mean! I-these are fake memories. You-you must've put them in my brain somehow. This stuff never happened."
***

***
"No, sweetie, the other memories are the false ones. Hallucinations. We-we're your family. And we are real," Clary smiled.
Taylor's nostrils flared. "Don't you dare call me sweetie again. I am not a child, so stop treating me like one!"
The crowd around her backed up slowly. "Taylor, just-"
"Do not tell me to calm down! I am not going to be calm until I can find my way- oh," Taylor smiled devilishly. She pulled Jordan in for what appeared to be a kiss. Instead, she grabbed the pocket knife from his belt loop. "Goodbye," Taylor said, stabbing herself in the chest.
***
Taylor woke up with a start, the spear still in her abdomen. She turned to the nearest person - Hayley - and grabbed onto her shirt collar as if her life depended on it. "I-I need your-" she rasped. She couldn't breath, and she could tell whatever she'd done to escape her alternate reality wouldn't hold for long. "She's awake!" Hayley exclaimed.
