I am currently reading two books, Heir of Fire by Sarah j Maas and Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer. I never read two books at once bc Im afraid Ill give all my attention to one and not the other. I think it will take me longer, but maybe thats just in my head. Also, I worry about mixing things up. I like to get lost in a world when I read...not jump from one world to the next. Make sense? Anyone else do this?

Anyway, so Heir Of Fire is good. Im in love with the series so far. This book just seems to be going at a slower pace (Ive only made it to pg 80ish). Ive been assured that this is the best book in the series. So Im anxious to keep reading and get to the juicy parts!

Wires and Nerve is my first graphic novel...ever. I thought Id give it a go since...well...Lunar Chronicles ;) Im only picking it up here and there but I quite like it!! :D

What are you currently reading? How are you enjoying it? Also, hehe was it a book already on your tbr? (Hangs head down low...bc mine werent lol)

Melly (mellysw) I am reading Spymistress, a book that was on my February TBR shelf. I frequently read two oir more books at once, this is one of the rare times I'm not.

I have had a lot of people ask me, "How can you keep track of more than one book at once?"

My response - "How do you keep track of multiple tv shows at once?" It's easy. You are interested, and when the next show in the series comes on it does a quick recap, quite often.

So do the same with your books if needed. Re-read the last couple paragraphs. You will fall right back into the story.

dani christine (daniellechristineyt) I'm reading The Miseducation of Cameron Post but I refuse to put it on my Goodreads currently reading because it's really good and I don't want to fall into the Goodreads curse again.

Melly (mellysw) The Goodreads Curse? *looks curious*

message 6: by Kelsey (new)

Kelsey (hardbackhaven) I never used to read more than one but have been reading 2 lately. One audio (I still have a physical copy I follow along with) Voyager by Diana Gabaldon. I'm also reading City of Heavenly Fire. Excited to mark another series complete :)

How is Voyager, Kelsey? I loved Outlander, but heard mixed things about her books.

Melly (mellysw) Currently reading Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse. It's amazing. :)

Kelsey (hardbackhaven) I'm enjoying it so far :) they're all quite hefty reads and I can understand why some people have problems with the series. I just love the characters so much - I have to know how their story plays out.

Melly (mellysw) I have finished my February to-reads, so I indulged myself this weekend with a smorgasboard of romance. It was such delightful easy reading I felt bad letting them count towards my yearly book goal. I think tomorrow I might start on March to-reads, though.
