Just a minor thing, a series with the end missing, but only for some ?

Just finished this series and the ending is more like
an abrupt halt. Strange I thought did it really end
like this ? Perhaps here is another book due ?

I have checked out the authors website and discover
that it did indeed end like this, (a lot of puzzled
readers like me I think) but by popular demand
there is now an epilogue that appears
in the back of the paperback edition.Which is fine
except its not in the earlier editions of the paperback
or the hardback or the ebook or the audiobook.
Its not on the website either unless I missed it, carefully
hidden away somewhere all Anna Carey can talk about now is
her new series coming soon and frankly I feel let down
and am not too disposed to invest in any other of her
books.

It seems obvious to add it to her website,
but she has moved on.

Has anyone out there read the epilogue ?
If so what happened next ?

Thanks so much for this I asked in our library they checked
their stock and its not in any of their editions. This is a
big oversight on the writers part

I only read the first book and always meant to continue with this series. I'm pretty sure I don't have the epilogue either, good to know.
