I am not a fan of cats...

They have a select fan base. I was always told cats were mean.
Hehe. I was wondering what was going on. One topic you were an arrow, in the next you were a cat.

I hate dogs. I know, not much of the population hates dogs but still"
Dogs get on my nerves most of the time. But cats, they're independent and awesome. I mean, puppies can be cute, but owning a dog *shakes head* it's too much work. Cats are better.
Well, I'd never "hate" an entire species, but I guess you guys are different.
Melzz wrote: "Well, I'd never "hate" an entire species, but I guess you guys are different."I don't hate them, I just don't like them as much as much as cats.
I guess I meant just BookGeek then.

Oh, ok then.
Melzz wrote: "Well, I'd never "hate" an entire species, but I guess you guys are different."I hate humans! JK :)

O.O Ok, ok.

SEEKER! O.O

It's from the book The Host. They hated humans and hunted them.
Yeah, it was just kind of a joke... Doesn't work if you have to explain things...
That's in the beginning of the story so... Not really. You find out that stuff in some of the synopses.
To Vivi with the bow and arrow?

I love dogs their so cute and slobbery and lovable. Then on the other hand cats are all serious and mean and they make my eyes swell up.

>.< That sucks. But cat's are...I just went through this. And dogs smell funny (sometimes).
Dogs have some kind of magic that makes me love them. They do smell funny but they have so much more appeal to me besides the allergy thing they don't poo in a box
Ambizzle wrote: "Dogs have some kind of magic that makes me love them. They do smell funny but they have so much more appeal to me besides the allergy thing they don't poo in a box"You're right, instead, they poop all over your carpet.
Vivi wrote: "Are dogs smarter than cats?"
Well in general, cats are more cunning, but some of the dogs in the hunting group can make up for that. Some cats can be feisty, but the terriers know feisty. Some cats can tell the time of day, but most dogs can follow the circadian rhythms that allow them to know as well. Cats know their way around, but so do St. Bernard's and various other breeds of search and rescue dogs. Cats are independent, but again, so are the terriers.
It depends on what you consider smart. There is always a canine equivalent to how smart a certain cat breed is. For the sake of argument, I'd say they are even.
But I'd also like to add, that cat's aren't used in as many feilds as dogs are.
You should know about terriers. How can someone even know a cat knows what time it is? It's not like the cat is going to say "it's 3 o'clock"
There was this dog in Japan, whose owner used to get off of the trainstation everyday at 5 o'clock, and the dog would navigate through the city and wait at the bus stop everday for it's owner at the exact time.
The owner died in a car accident, I think. The dog still waited everyday at the bus stop for him, right on time. Until all the trains were gone. The dog did this for 5 years until it died. There is now a statue in the train station deticated to this faithful dog.
That's one of the examples how we know dogs can tell time.

It's a sad story at first, but after a while it's only a little sad, and it really makes you think.
I read a book about that. I cried.
Aww, I steer away from a fiction with dogs in it. Most of them are just sad, like Marley or Sounder.
I like to bawl though so I read them. If it makes me cry it means it has emotion so I like it when books make me cry
Ambizzle wrote: "I like to bawl though so I read them. If it makes me cry it means it has emotion so I like it when books make me cry"It depends with me.

Haha, they do rock.
