Ladybug Girl At The Beach Literary Essay
A lot of people have a fear including Ladybug girl but not all of our fears our handled the way we would like them too. When Lulu came to the beach it was her first time but in the pictures it looked like she had been at the beach several times…. I don't want to get too far into detail but she looked pretty confident, at first but then her fear started to overcome her emotions. The book shows this through when Lulu sees how big the waves are, when Lulu tried to go back into the water but the waves pull her and her dog bingo back, and then she finally took the courage to get in the water and become Ladybug Girl!!! And that shows that she did not let fear take over her emotions.

The first reason that the text shows us not to let fear take over your emotions is when Lulu sees how big the waves are. Lulu lied to her brother when he said “ are you coming in the water?” Then lulu responded by saying “ I really just came here to build sand castles.” We think Lulu did this because she was scared to go in because of how big the waves were. Lulu also was too afraid to go into the water because she had a look on her face that she was keeping the idea of still going into the water in the back of her mind. This led to Lulu is doing different things then she planned at the beach like flying a kite, Building sand castles, getting ice cream and more! Overall, this really shows that Lulu let fear take over her emotions.

The second reason the story shows us to not let fear take over your emotions is when Lulu went back down to the water and tries to go back in. Lulu tries to be brave but she can not do it because the water pulled her away and her and bingo got really scared. Which shows us that Lulu let fear take over her emotions. Secondly, Lulu and bingo walk back to the sand and they did not go in the water at all because they got pulled in which also shows us that Lulu and bingo let fear take over their emotions. And lastly, Lulu and bingo go looking for shells and things in the sand because they are to scared to get in and that most of all shows us that Lulu and bingo both, let their fear take over their emotions.

Lastly, Ladybug girl choose to change and NOT let fear take over her emotions when her trusty pail and shovel drifted into the ocean and she became LADYBUG GIRL and went in the ocean! Lulu and Bingo did NOT let fear take over their emotions when they went in the water even though the waves were big and noisy! This led to Lulu and bingo having so much fun even though she had so much fear and she did not let the waves get her. Lasly When it was time to leave Lulu really wanted to stay because she had so much fun in the big waves so she was very disappointed to leave but that shows us that she did not let fear take over her emotions.

This story shows us to not let fear take over your emotions in many different ways. Some of the ways were when Lulu sees how big the waves are and when lulu went back down to the water and tries to go back in. But lulu and Bingo did something very cool, they got in the water and they did not let their fear take over their emotions they went in even though they were scared. Overall this is a great book to show us why you should never ever let your fears take over your emotions.
