Phoenix77 | 346 comments I started To Charm a Naughty Countess over the weekend and will probably follow that up with either the new Erin Knightley or Juliana Gray releases.

I'm just about done with the UK edition of Sharon Bolton's latest Lacey Flint mystery, A Dark and Twisted Tide. These are some of the best mysteries around. Smart and the heroine is tough and complicated. Her hero's not so bad either;)

Rachel Hill | 487 comments I started the Sinister Series. Actually for anyone who has a kindle the Governess Affair by Courtney Milan is free (or it was yesterday). I'm onto the second one (which is the 1st one?) the Duchess War. So far, it's fairly good.

Marita (bluestockingandproud) | 43 comments Governess Affair has been free since it's release and will continue to be free in the foreseeable future I believe. And the Brothers Sinister is one of my favourite HR series ever so keep going, they only get better!

I'm getting into Erin Knightley's new release The Baron Next Door today. Been looking forward to it for ages, and staring at the utterly gorgeous cover for all that time hasn't helped me wait any more patiently. It's the start of a new series whose premise sounds really fun, and if the teaser about the first and second books are anything to go by, it should be a really fun series. First book's got a bit of an enemies-to-lovers thing going on, which I love, but I thought it seemed like a real fun way to do it, because the H/h insta-hate each other rather than the love at first sight you usually find :)

Cheri (cvenable16) | 136 comments Just finished Desires of a Baron by Rose Gordon. Now starting I Want to Hold Your Hand by Marie Force. Been so looking forward to this one after the first one in the series. I always want to savor those that I know I'll love but seem to always rush through them because they're so good I can't put them down. Then I get mad at myself that I didn't make it last longer...

Love the Brothers Sinister series too Marita and Rachel!

I love Courtney Milan... Wait until the train scene. Possibly funniest scene ever.

Marita (bluestockingandproud) | 43 comments I will literally read anything Courtney Milan cares to write. And I loved the train scene Dls :) I was actually going to mention who my absolute favourite characters in the series were, but I've found it impossible-my internal monologue went something like "Oh this one for sure, but then remember that scene when you absolutely fell in love with that one? Or what that one did that was so sweet it made your chest ache? Or how brave you found that one, or how much you wanted to cheer the other one on out loud?" So yeah, literally every character is my favourite. But I might claim a tiny extra special fondness for Jonas Grantham and Hugo Marshall. And it says a lot about an author when you ever-so-slightly loved her novellas even more than her admittedly brilliant full-length novels. That takes some excellent writing chops to achieve :)

And just to add to my mention of The Baron Next Door-it started off as enemies-to-lovers but quickly became way more than that. Absolutely unputdownable and I cannot recommend it enough! It's searingly sweet and witty and brilliant and just leaves you with the sappiest grin on your face! Plus, it's got a sense of sisterhood and friendship reminiscent of the Wallflowers :) *happy sigh*
