Did we read All Quiet on the Western Front yet?
I just looked at the Classics bookshelf, and came upon this one: The Vicar of Wakefield. I had never heard of it, but it sounds interesting, so I'd like to nominate it!

As a matter of fact, yes. :)
As a matter of fact, yes. :)
I'm ready for some laughter this summer, so I nominate Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift. I could use a re-visit to Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa, and the Houyhnhnms/Yahoos :-)I love the Arthur Rackham illustrations:
I wouldn't be unhappy with any of the four other nominations (they're all great), but I'll nominate Maurice by E.M. Forster.
That's great. I never read it and I can also use it for a theme-read for another group (the theme is travelling - some kind of similar word has to be in the title).
