I may not get the books from the Library on time to start my preferred AotD plan on March 1....but I already have first of the books for my second plan. Is it ok if I read the first book in plan 2 and then when my books come from the library start and complete plan 1 in order before returning to book 2 on plan 2?
I guess what I asking is can I work on two different plans at the same time?

Ah, this one! No, I haven't ignored it, but having a consultation. The other mods have more demands on their time than do I, but I think we'll have something for you later today.

Ed - Plan 1 needs to be finished and posted completely before posting any books from plan 2 for points.

Just a reminder. Regardless of if you are reading as a time traveler or a time leaper, please post your books in order of completion.

ok.... but does that mean I can start reading the books in plan 2...just don't post them until I'm finished with plan 1?

The scoring structure requires you to complete your books within each chain in order. Overlapping the two chains while reading is not prohibited. You just can't get points for a second chain until the first is complete.

I think you've answered this but I want to be sure...if I choose the Edgar Award, do all ten of my books need to be the winner in the same subcategory?

Yes, you can mix and match the subcategories, as long as they are all listed on GR as Edgars. (Or no, they don't have to be all the same!)

So I've finished book #8 for my time-travel AotD... still waiting for my book #9 but have got book #10 (only available as audiobook in CDs!). Can I start listening to book #10 before I start reading book #9? I'm sure I'll finish reading book #9 before I finish listening to #10...

I think the answer is no but thought I'd ask anyway :p

Yes, but of course you must post your books in order so that you get the Time Traveler bonus.
