Ahh, makes sense :p in my city/town, everyone and their mother are country xD or even just the slightest, like everyone here loves country music too.

yeah. I've met quite a few people who are country and such. not a super whole lot, but enough to make this place country-type. I've met a few people where I live that totally hate country music so.
I live about 20 minutes away from Disneyland and 60-90 minutes away from Los Angeles, if that kinda gives you a sense for where I live. It's definitely not big-city, but it's far from small-town and I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

So... I just found out that my grandpa has prostate cancer. And they are going to run tests tomorrow to see how long it is, but... they're pretty sure it's advanced. And he's already recovering from a back injury and he has pulmonary fibrosis so... yeah. I honestly don't even know what to do.

We're hoping they can get it under control... he has already decided that he won't have surgery or chemo, but he's going to get like non-surgical treatment and hopefully that will be enough, at least for a few more years... He's 84, almost 85, so if they can get it under control for long enough then there's a good chance he can pass away from his age.
@Echo: Don't worry about it. I could use some things to keep my mind off of it.

And I mean... There's nothing I can do about it but make the most of my time that I do with him, and pray that the doctors can get it under control. And who knows, maybe it won't be nearly as bad as they think. Maybe the treatment will work well. He does have a good history of recovering well from surgeries and treatments.

I figure that it would be a bit naive to expect the best, but I can certainly hope and pray for the best.

Or just do what I did, have one as the first name and the other as the last name xD that helped me, and I ended up like Kora more than Jocelyn so I had her middle name as her nickname that she prefers to be called by HHS xD
