MargieD2017 | 331 comments I am new to the book club but I am curious as to why I am not in the participation spreadsheet. I read and reviewed books in January. Is there a minimum number of months required?

Hi Margie!

I am glad you alerted us that you are here and that you reviewed books in January. That's very strange. Let me check our threads and get right back to you. Please note that if you just review the book on your bookshelf, we don't have a way to know you did that. You need to make a copy of your review and post it in the appropriate monthly thread.

But perhaps I just did a bad job and missed yours. I'm going to look right now!! If you did your reviews and posted them, you should absolutely be in the spreadsheet.

Anita

Hi Margie! I did a little investigation, and I have sent you a private message. Please let me know if it makes sense to you and if you need any further assistance. I'm happy to give you the points retroactively . . .but my message will elaborate on why you haven't received any points to date.

Karin | 9249 comments ROFL for some of the Star Wars comments.

1. I voted just like Susie, if by all her weight she means ALL her allowed voting weight. 2. I am guessing that Star Wars might have other books in it, but I do NOT want to read Star Wars books as in the movie. 3. Military history might have a few interesting books in there, but it's hard to imagine this first thing on a Saturday morning. I came here realizing I totally forgot to check here and vote this week even though on the 14th I knew it was going to be the next day.

LOL! Although I do have Carrie Fisher's last book, The Princess Diarist. I got it in audio, because Carrie is the narrator (along with her daughter Billie Lourd) and I thought it would be special to have her voice to listen to. I was a big fan of Carrie's, I read several of her books and found her unflinching honesty refreshing. She was a long time advocate of mental illness and never shied away from telling her story. I find that admirable and I am sorry we lost such a compelling voice.

Jenni Elyse (jenni_elyse) Even though I know Star Wars won't win, I regret nothing. I'm glad I threw all my weight behind it because it's who I am, lol. But, I'm excited to see which of the other two actually does win. I'm hoping for Ireland, but we'll see.
