Diane Guntrip | 2 comments 'Dear H', by Diane Guntrip, is a book written for girls in the 10 - 14 year old range. However, the story has created a lot of interest from older female readers.

'Twelve year old Amanda should be the happiest girl in the world. She is the daughter of wealthy, successful parents, lives in a six bed-roomed mansion and attends a prestigious private school. What more could she ask for?

However, Amanda is besieged with problems. She is lonely, 'fat and frumpy', suffers from depression and has low self-esteem. BUT, her biggest fear is of Cassandra and her gang of bullies who torment her every waking hour.

Follow Amanda's journey from 'poor little rich girl' to realising her dreams.'

"This delightful book combines a fun short story with with some very funny poems. The book is very inventive and while the author says it is for 9-12 year old kids (which it is) I would also have to say that younger kids would have a complete blast if a parent or grandparent would read it to them."

http://www.amazon.com/Lakhoni-Jared-G...

"Lakhoni has been left for dead. When the King's guards attack his village and slaughter his people, he regains consciousness only to find his sister has been taken captive.

Armed with only a bow, Lakhoni must traverse a brutal wilderness, face deadly warriors, and battle legendary tattooed assassins, all in order to save his sister's life. But along the way, he discovers the truth about his parents: they were not the simple villagers they seemed. Instead, they were hiding a great secret that goes back to the First Fathers and may determine the fate of the kingdom itself.

But Lakhoni isn’t the only one who wants the king dead. Ancient enemies are poised to strike while traitors poison the kingdom from within. With the life of the king and the fate of the kingdom hanging in the balance, can Lakhoni avenge his parents’ death without becoming a murderer himself?"

Ruslan | 2 comments One of the first children's books from 1900.
‘’The Tea Party of Miss Moon’’ is a fairy tale written by Princess Marie Thurn-Taxis who lived in Italy and was a real princess of noble family.
Among her many tales this was a favourite of her grandsons and she decided to write it down in English for them to learn the language.
An ebook is created from her original manuscript with hand painted watercolours. It is very charming and every child will love it. If interested one can download it here from iBooks: https://geo.itunes.apple.com/gb/book/...

THE LOST DREAMSTONE has been officially launched into the Kindlesphere! 37 years in the making! (That's explained in the back of the book and also here on Goodreads https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...)

Don't believe in the Sandman? Neither did 11-year-old twins, Josh and Jenna. That is, until one night when something moved in the corner of Jenna's bedroom. That event started a chain reaction that catapulted the twins across a threshold into a mystical realm, "the place of dreams where nothing is quite the way it seems, where that which is, perhaps is not and what is not just might be."

Josh and Jenna are shocked to discover they are the key to fulfilling an ancient prophecy:

Now the Dreamstone has been lost
Waiting who knows where?
Like a ball between two players tossed
’Tis neither here nor there.
Two children from the Outer World
Together shall come alone.
They must be twins, a boy and girl
To find the lost Dreamstone.

The prophecy must be fulfilled or everyone, everywhere, will suffer horrendous nightmares every sleeping moment of their lives for as long as they live.

Tasked with finding the Dreamstone in a realm populated by Dreamons and Drangels and Skrids––Oh my!––not to mention those annoying Weedles––the twins are met with dangers and strangers beyond their wildest dreams.

Will Josh, the adventurous one, find this adventure to be more than he can handle? Jenna, the cautious one, will certainly find her cautious nature challenged by the need to press onward in spite of the obstacles at nearly every turn.

Failure to succeed in their quest is not an option––at least not if they ever want to return to their home and to the comfortable lives they once knew. D'rath Kahn, the Dark Lord of Nightmares has declared it so.

The Lost Dreamstone, complete with colorful illustrations by the author, is geared toward Middle Grade readers with a thirst for action, adventure and a touch of weirdness. There is much to be discovered in the place where dreams come from. Like Shamara the Sorceress told the twins, "Future fortune is often lost because a threshold is left uncrossed."

The door is open.

Admission is only $1.99 for a limited time.

Won't you come on in?

Six-year-old Rosie sees a tall, "friendly" man, but doesn't realize that she's in the pathway of an angry ghost with revenge on his mind.

It's a groundbreaking graphic novel that is jam-packed with thousands of sketches, hilarious stories, mini comics, drawing tips, and more.

Here's what people are saying:

"This book is nothing short of inspirational -- for children and adults alike. The artwork is fantastic, every inch of the page is covered in something interesting. The narrative is funny, thought-provoking, and educational. If you have elementary or middle school-aged kids in your life, this book should be on your holiday shopping list." - J.H. Karlock

"This book is written with older children in mind, however, my boys, 5 and 8, are fascinated by Heavy Sketches Among Worldly Distractions. My 8 year loves the facts, stories and drawings. My 5 year old LOVES the illustrations and the enjoys the author's use of an eye ball doodle for the word "I". My children have been inspired to draw their own doodles and illustrations. What more could a mom ask for than inspiration from book? Since the book arrived in the mail, my children have spent every free moment with their heads in this book. As a parent and educator, I find this book to be engaging enough for the most reluctant readers while sparking curiosity in the avid reader..."S.P. Bartholomew

Poisoned Iris, book 1 of the Red Era trilogy by Cindy Mezni - a YA dystopian novel

Athens was once the cradle of civilization. Now it's slowly but surely becoming the tomb of humanity.

The Red Plague, a violent virus which had run rampant decades ago, left its imprint on the planet and the flesh of men. All that remains of the modern world is an endless wasteland of ruins—Erebos—and two cities—Elysion, the obscure island of the Non-Infecteds about which no one knows a thing, and, Tartaros, the crumbling town of the Infecteds where despair, hatred, violence and poverty are the keywords.

And at the heart of this universe lives Irisya, a sixteen-year-old Non-Infected girl, staying recluse in her home to be safe and relying on her brother, Memphis, for everything.

But then, one day, he disappears without a trace.

Irisya has no choice. To save him, to survive, she will have to brave all the dangers of the outside world.

Melody Bremen (melodyjbremen) Get Car Guts for only 99 cents on Kindle until September 14th.
Car Guts by Melody J. Bremen
All Beatrice wants is a normal family.
When her unstable family falls apart, Beatrice is sent to Sandpoint, Texas to live with her uncle. Uncle Kyle is a mechanic who grunts and wears a cowboy hat. There are no neighbors, no friends. Just sand, a dog, and a garage full of greasy car guts.
There’s also a barn. A big, creepy barn with strange noises and lights. Keep out of there, Uncle Kyle tells her. But Beatrice can’t keep out of the barn. She hears something moving inside, something she isn’t supposed to see. What she discovers is a strange and magical new world, a world where her cowboy uncle isn’t what he seems.
Maybe a “normal” family isn’t what she needs, after all.

Jake Panda (JakeGPanda) | 2 comments I'm looking for a few brave audiobook reviewers!

I have some Audible codes available for folks out there who would be interested in doing an an honest review of my wild new middle grade audio adventure (and if you want to read it, I can get you a kindle version too).

I've been called a hardboiled Winnie-the-Pooh. I work in the endangered racket at a flophouse for rare animals called The Last Resort. I'm the house detective. The resident fuzz.

Listen to a sample: http://bit.ly/PandaPreview

THE CASE OF THE CURSED DODO is a brand new wild and woolly audio adventure. This is not your garden-variety audiobook. It's a throwback to old time radio serials that's designed to teach kids about endangered species in a fun and informative way. But it's just silly enough to appeal to the kid in all of us.

DM me or leave a reply if you're interested in checking it out.

I Escaped The World's Deadliest Shark Attack (I Escaped #3)

A young sailor is trapped in the ocean, surrounded by hundreds of man-eating sharks, during the deadliest attack the world has ever seen. Can he escape?

From multi-award-winning Ellie Crowe and Scott Peters.

16-year-old Josh is thrilled to be a crew member aboard the mighty USS Indianapolis. But when a Japanese torpedo strikes in the middle of the night, it tears the warship in half. Josh is thrown from the deck and plunged deep into the black ocean. In horror, he watches the massive vessel begin its death plunge, threatening to pull him down with it. Josh is no swimmer. He's a baseball player from San Antonio, Texas. He's way out of his element. Soon, hundreds of sharks begin to circle. He's living his worst nightmare, but for how long? Can he survive without a lifeboat, food or water in a sea of countless hungry sharks? Every hour is a fight because if he gives up, he'll never make it home. But does he have what it takes to survive? With no rescue team in sight, can Josh ever hope to escape?

On July 30, 1945, the USS Indianapolis was torpedoed at 15 minutes past midnight. It sank in 12 minutes. The survivors spent four days fighting off the deadliest shark attacks in history.

This is the 3rd children's book in the I Escaped Series about brave kids who face real-world challenges and find ways to escape.

Thank you,
Scott Peters

Sue Doe | 1 comments Hello,
I just released my debut novel on Amazon called Tipu Finds Magic. It is on offer on Amazon (free) till the 5th of September. I would really appreciate if you can check it out. Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Tipu-Finds-Mag...

If anyone can leave a review, that would be brilliant, but of course that's only if you find the time and if you actually enjoy reading it. Thank you for any time that you spend on my book. If you want to know a bit about it, you can find the description below:

Condemned to a life of mediocrity, Tipu is bored of everything, even his friends.
He thought there would be more going for him by the time he got to college, but it’s his senior year and there's still no sign of a life he wants. When he thinks things can't get any worse, he has a meltdown in the middle of the college café. One thing leads to another and he ends up going into a manhole with a 5 year old gnome.
Tipu Finds Magic is a coming-of-age fantasy novel in which magic of the West meets magic of the East. This novel makes an excellent read for anyone hoping to experience new worlds through the eyes of an honest and candid narrator.

Sandra Morrison | 1 comments Hello!

My name is Sandra Morrison. I'm a kindergarten teacher and a mom of two. Also, I like to write exciting and instructive stories for children. I adore fairy tales, and I have found them helpful on many occasions – to teach the children moral lessons, entertain them, or calm them before going to bed.

I want to tell you about my first book, “Elvin and Brayden: Friends Forever”.

Whoosh! In one misstep near the sink, Elvin the pet mouse loses his footing and slips down the drain. He soon finds himself in a scary and unfamiliar world.

Down below, Elvin meets Brayden, a street mouse. At first, the two seem quite different from each other. But they do share something in common. Both mice need help. They miss the love and support of their families. Each mouse requires one true friend.

John Mondragon (john_mondragon) | 1 comments My new YA contemporary novel which I co-wrote with Kelly Alblinger is available now in English & Spanish.
The Clash Inside Me THE CLASH INSIDE ME opens with a young man perched on a ledge and contemplating an unusual predicament: did he or did he not commit murder? And if he did, which of his alter-personalities will ultimately be held responsible?

The young man, who remains nameless throughout the tale, recounts the story of his life and the diagnosis of his mental illness –dissociative identity disorder – with refreshing candor. Speaking directly to the reader, he describes his personal history in a manner that is both relatable and engaging. Despite the obvious disadvantages of coping with multiple personalities, he is not a victim of his circumstances. He is a survivor with expectations of a bright future, including a tender romance. There are moments of fear and anguish, but his is not a story of despair; rather it is a tale of ongoing courage to define oneself while coping with a serious mental illness

Susea Spray (suseaspray) | 1 comments This award - winning picture book is a fun read for early readers about a boat, a girl and the rollicking frolicking sea.

Free to read on KU, here's what people are saying:

'Very entertaining for young readers: 5 out of 5 stars
A Big Blue Boat is a wonderful story for children, and parents will enjoy it as well. Children love lyrical language and will begin to recognize words as they are repeated and color coded, a great idea for beginning readers. The pictures are bright but don't overwhelm. The use of transition words is also very clever. I would recommend this book and am anxious to read it to my grandson.'

I have launched a Children's Book Series called "The Jungle Heroes"

We are starting with ebooks and moving on to printed books. You can check the video of the printed proof here -

https://www.thejungleheroes.com/print...

The Jungle Heroes Series is all about inspiring children to learn about the natural world and the animals that inhabit it. Our book series features boy heroes who befriend animals on their visits to jungles. They instigate change in their village and city through their experience of the natural world and animals. We believe in the power of storytelling to educate and inspire young minds.

These books will transform into teen novels and comics, just as a child grows up to be a teen.

Our website offers eBooks, Printed Books, and Merchandise (over 400 products have been added in the backend, more coming soon) for sale. Join us on this exciting adventure and help us make a difference!

30 more books in the series are being edited and designed.
