Going to finish by tomorrow. Don't know how to feel that I'm almost done with all the books

Gina Bowman | 24 comments Well, what did you think? We found the movie then around May/June I realized there was a book, then I found out there was a series. Then I found out there was a spinoff.

I was so disappointed that it wasn't more Rose and Dimitri. I kept wanting more of their stories. I wanted to find out how Lissa was adapting to being queen and how Christian was dealing with day to day life of being with "the "queen", then how the Moroi training was going. I sped read through the books in a few days to find out if Rose and Dimitri had more part in this story.

Then all the storylines in the Bloodlines books that leave us wanting more books, another spinoff would be awesome.

I went back and reread the Bloodlines books once I'd finished them. I liked them for their own stories the next time. I still want another spin off with more about the unfinished threads in these books.

Have you read all the short stories that go along with the VA books? Then Adrian's missing chapters are really good too. It's the connecting story between the Last VA book and when Sydney's father wakes her up. Richelle Mead decided to leave out at the beginning of Bloodlines. I think it was the day that Jill was killed, it's several chapters long.

There are 4 short stories in the 10th anniversary edition of Vampire Academy book 1, then a few more, Sunshine..where Lissa's parents meet, Homecoming...where Rose and Dimitri go to Russia to let his mother know he's not Stragoi anymore...it's not a great story but it's very needed for those of us who wanted to read about him seeing his mother and her reaction.

I updated the wiki "extras" fan page, here's a link that has information about all the short stories and some of them are on that page.

Gina Bowman | 24 comments Here's how the stories line up so far. None of the 4 stories in the 10th Anniversary Edition are online free as of yet. But I found all the others online.

1 "Sunshine", Eric Dragomir meets Rhea Daniels.
(It is in Kisses From Hell, a novella that has several short stories.I read it online free)

2 "The Turn and The Flame", Tasha Ozera fights off Christian's parents and saves his life.
(10th Anniversary Edition of Vampire Academy)

3 "From the Journal of Vasilisa Dragomir", Rose and Lissa run away from the Academy and live among humans until Dimitri finds them.
(10th Anniversary Edition of Vampire Academy)

4 "The Meeting", Dimitri's point of view.
(Richelle posted this story on her website, it's pretty easy to find online free)

5 Book 1, "Vampire Academy"

6 "Hello, My Name Is Rose Hathaway". Takes place not too long after Victor kidnapped Lissa. Before Frostbite starts.
(10th Anniversary Edition of Vampire Academy)

7/8 "Homecoming", Dimitri and Rose go to Russia/Siberia so he can tell his mother he's alive.
(From the Foretold novella, I found it free online)

7/8 "Adrian's Lost Chapters". It is a bridge between Last Sacrifice and the first Bloodlines novel. I believe the dinner he is going to is the one where Jill was attacked and killed. He used Spirit and brought her back and she is now linked, shadow kissed, with Adrian.
(Free to read online)

In Adrian's lost chapters he says he sees Rose and Dimitri sometimes when he walks around Court. So they're present at Court at some points during the time she's healing and before they go visit the group in the first Bloodlines book. I think I would read Homecoming first because it's the last Rose Point of View story. Then start on the Bloodlines stories.
