Harry reached out to Rachel Walling for assistance with the case after Kiz got injured. What did you think of their teaming up, both professionally and personally?

I really like Rachel's character and enjoyed their interactions. Harry was very smart to call her in because she not only made a good sounding board for his ideas, but her insights into Waits were spot on.

As for their romance, I think that she is a good match for Harry. However, she is also right that he takes too many risks and she cannot trust him with her heart. It's a pity.

I wasn't a big Rachel fan before this book and that's probably because I hated how she handled the earlier romance. I liked her here and her personal relationship with Harry. Her profiling made the investigation so much more interesting. And, yes, she nailed Harry. Just hope he takes heed.

[Robin]

I wasn't much of a fan of this character, but I have to admit she is growing on me. She's good at her job and Harry knew she would be a great help in assisting him with the case. And, she is correct that he takes too many risks and sometimes plays God.
