Do you think it was the right thing for Courtney to do when she decided to disappear? Why or why not?

Quynh (quynh_o) | 134 comments I get her reason for needing to disappear and protect herself and others. But it was also dangerous as she isn't exactly a kickass heroine who can fit off the bad guys. She's good at running away so it was just second nature for her perhaps?

I think it was ill advised and fit right into her "flight" pattern. Going dark was smart but she should have worked with either Will or Jack because she ultimately put other people at risk. Courtney did a good job of getting away but those phone calls were not very smart.

Quynh (quynh_o) | 134 comments She wasn't fit for the life on the run, in a way she does care a lot for those she loves.

Laura I think she was pushed into a corner and felt she didn't have a choice. It was smart of her to go to the private investigator for help disappearing. She could have just hopped in a car with no plan.

Getting help was brilliant and Alex was a smart choice. But beyond covering her disappearance, she didn't know how to keep it going. I think she should have involved Jack who would have known how to cover calls (used a burner phone to stay in contact).

Laura I think Jack would have talked her out of running. I think if it was doable Alex would have arranged for a burner phone. She said no calls. I don't blame her for calling Fiona on her wedding day though. I would have probably.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I also understood her reasoning and respected her for the way she want about it.

While Jack could probably have helped her, she probably didn't want to involve those close to her.

It is also possible that her trust issues prevented her from going to him.

Completely separating oneself from loved ones is extremely hard and one of the main reasons people leave the witness protection program.
