Eva Walker is a seventeen-year-old math genius. And if that doesn’t do wonders for her popularity, there’s another thing that makes it even worse: when she touches another person or anything that belongs to them — from clothes to textbooks to cell phones — she sees a vision of their emotions. She can read a person’s fears and anxieties, their secrets and loves … and what they have yet to learn about calculus. This is helpful for her work as a math tutor, but it means she can never get close to people. Eva avoids touching anyone and everyone. People think it’s because she’s a clean freak — with the emphasis on freak — but it’s all she can do to protect herself from other people’s issues.

Then one day a new student walks into Eva’s life. His jacket gives off so much emotional trauma that she falls to the floor. Eva is instantly drawn to Zenn, a handsome and soulful artist who also has a troubled home life, and her feelings only grow when she realizes that she can touch Zenn’s skin without having visions. But when she discovers the history that links them, the truth threatens to tear the two apart.

Chapter 4: (view spoiler)[ so far, its kind of slow-paced. The author is probably leading up to everything but I don't get something. How can she never touch anyone or their stuff...like ok fine, you avoid it at school but it probably has happened before...and with her parents...well like there should be more to this i feel but im still at the beginning so 🤷 (hide spoiler)] plus, I'm a sucker for the typical contemporary, YA, romance, whatever etc etc

chapter 19 (view spoiler)[ i feel like its dragging on right now...im more than half way thru and there still isnt much happening. when charlotte left Eva, it was like nothing. there was no explosion, tears, anything...just Eva letting Charlotte go and that's it. Lacks some of the WOW factor lol but reviews say its coming so lets see (hide spoiler)]

I loved it tbh...I'm writing my review rn but it was really cool. the beginning was kinda slow though. the end was like..wow, a cool twist but the author left it in a sort of like, u make what u want of it...kinda like make your own ending...like its not a cliffhanger but idk lol...read it and let me know what u think :)

Yeahh... there isn't much about her parents but think about it. If her aunt doesn't believe her NO TOUCH thing, then she wouldnt have believed it if her mom had it

Really? At first I thought she deserved it cuz Charlotte chose a guy over her best friend and ur not supposed to do that. I felt like the book lacked in a sense of a real HS. like, josh was NOT what i expected

(view spoiler)[Yes I do think Charlotte was in the wrong, but it was pretty much her first time having the guy she wanted interested in her. I don’t think Charlotte handled the having a boyfriend situation good, but Eva should tell her how she feel (hide spoiler)]

When she started looking at the rocks on Zenn’s window during this chapter, I was thinking maybe Zenn might have drove in a car that was involved in the crash. But now it makes sense that it was his dad. It wasn’t really a plot twist since I kind of guessed it, but I wonder what’s going to happen now? (hide spoiler)]

Finished:(view spoiler)[ This was a cute love story, but the ending was rushed. I wish we could have seen them maybe in college for a bit? I like how everything was good in the end, but it was a bit fast. I enjoyed reading it, even though it took longer than I would have liked. I still want to know why she get the fractals and why she can touch Zenn. I hoped that would be answered instead of the readers having to use the imagination and interpret it in their own way. I’ll be putting my review up tomorrow. (hide spoiler)]
