Book added to wrong/duplicate 'author' page

Hi. I tried to add my new book and it was already added under an incorrect author page with my name. This unfortuantely happened last time. I had originally had my author page with no (dot/full stop) after my middle initial but I gather a Librarian changed it very early in the peace. I hadn't noticed this until I tried to add my last book. I had the same problem.
I ask a friendly librarian to change it to my official author name: Karen J. Carlisle. One theory is another Librarian or Amazon added the book to the author profile without the (fullstop)? As I understand it, it is difficult removing the full stop now.

All other details seem to be correct:

I moved the book to your profile. The book was added by an automatic import. The policy is to have a period after an initial, so your profile name should not be changed.
