Something good happened...This group. I am releasing book 4 this Thursday and I feel more ready than ever with the support of all of the wonderful authors in this group. My good thing is that the translation of my first book, Creatura, was finalized while I was out of town. Now I have to dig into those revisions. Lots of work ahead for me. I suppose I should write that down in the goals thread.

Thanks Nely. I'm a firm believer in putting some budget aside for awards. There are plenty of affordable ones that run about as much as a blog tour.
Thousands really do compete and librarians and booksellers are doing the reading. When you win the notice brings confidence as well as recognition.

My good news is that today I hit a milestone of thirty consecutive days of sales! I haven't had a no-sale day for a month. (And only three of those days were 'only one book sold' days!) I'm super chuffed. March has already surpassed my best month for sales.

(To be fair, I did release a book in that time, but whatever! I'll take whatever sign of improvement I can get :p)

Something weird is happening with Amazon. I noticed my son's best selling book Stillwell stopped moving in paperbacks. I checked and they are no longer making it available as POD. They lowered the price to 3 dollars and it's coming from these small books stores. (brand new).
They took off the Prime thing that used to be on the square with the price. I spend a long time on the phone with some guy from Createspace who gave me a line of horse crap about the fact that we are still making the same thing- but I explained, less people will buy if it doesn't show prime? Am I right? If they are arbitrarily doing this- what protection do we have?

Is this caused by the new publishing deal or completely separate? Followed by another question of-Can they do that?
