a great interview, Carole

Thank you so much. I would never have thought of just asking if they'd consider doing one on me.
YAY Becky!!!!! They are great people. I've been involved with them for a long time and they are really promoting to a bigger audience now!!!

Congratulations, Becky!

As for me, in the last few days, my Amazon KENP/page reads have shot back up after a bit of a lull and I've had a couple more sales of my latest release as well. Made me smile anyway :)

Hopefully I'll see everyone's good news as it's posted from now on."
And I've just found this post of yours in my Spam box!

1 - the lady I saw at the Job Centre today was decent and accepted what I said, so I won't have to worry about any back to work schemes for at least six months.
2 - I discovered..."
Happy to hear that, Alex. A bad day got better!

1) I finished writing The Illusion for the Bulwark Anthology.
2) I'm pleased with it.
3) Carole/Brit Lunden likes it.
Relief all round. I didn't think I'd make it to the 15k minimum word count.
In other news, I've got to write the blurb. (Oh bugger.)

Good. I'm always happy to gross people out. I have to cook dinner now but it's pizza night tomorrow, so they're quite safe!

Last November I created a giveaway for a gift pack of my book and journal. The woman who won it loved it and contacted me earlier this month to see if she could buy 2 more gift packs.
I had never thought to sell the book and journal together but couldn't say no and she wired me the money.
The problem was I didn't have any spare journals so I quickly ordered a few copies with a delivery date of Jan 20th and I waited and waited.
When they didn't arrive by Jan 24th, I checked the global shipping company' tracking and it said the package had been dropped off at my door on the 19th......nope.
Called Amazon (the shipping company will not take calls from Amazon customers :( After finally answering all the questions such as "Did you look everywhere?" she said the package is declared lost and my money would be refunded.
That's great but I still had a customer who had prepaid and I still didn't have the books. Went through the process again to order the books and even with fastest shipping it takes at least a week but I was stuck so had no choice.
The next evening at 8:00pm a box arrived at my door.
My original order arrived!
phew!!!
Found a good site- it's called Book Trib. They have lots of affordable PR stuff available. Check them out. https://booktrib.com/2019/01/a-fun-in...

Thank you, Alex :). And I think that's what I should do, too.

Thanks.

Good to hear, Alex. I'm glad things are going so well for you both.

Thanks. The GP was reluctant, "it's very specialist" was his opinion. He doesn't think they'll find anything wrong and I'll just be deemed clumsy. So be it, but I'd like to know for sure.

I'm not sure what to hope for here, DJ. That nothing is found to be wrong (which means still no explanation) or something to be found so you have answers. I guess I will hope for the best of all possible outcomes for you, whatever that looks like.
Answers are always the best things- then you can start doing things to speed up recovery or have the tools to make thing easier. Hope it happens for you, DJ.

Hope it's something that can be treated easily. There's a treatment for most things these days.
