Congratulations! I love it when good things happen to good people!A bit of my own news...
My most recent book, Anchored in Misty Lake,
has been nominated for a Swoony Award, recognizing reader favorites in clean, secular romance. Exciting for me, as there are some truly talented and prolific authors nominated and just being included is a big deal for little ol' me. If you'd care to cast a vote, here's the page https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1....

Medium is sending me $34.06 this month. That's the most I've had so far. Thanks everyone who took the time to clap and interact with my posts.

I'm getting $22.93, plus whatever I get from The Writing Cooperative. I never know what that's going to be until it shows up. I think I have a shot at breaking $30 total this month, though.
Thank you everyone. Well done Dale. I'm still not confident enough to join a thing and offer them articles.

Way to go everyone! I am getting $7 haha! But considering I was lucky to get 1 article out a week this month, I consider that pretty good. With the nicer weather, I am not spending as much time indoors with the kids right now so it makes it hard to write.

I agree, D.J. :) I was pleasantly surprised to be getting that much. It has been a good break. I have been a little stuck on ideas too so hopefully the break will get the creative juices flowing again.

Great news, Dale.

Make it a routine. Set aside a small amount of time twice weekly where you devote time to an observation and turn it into a story.

Just write drivel, it works for me. Punctuated drivel. I'm working on one now that contains nothing of interest to anyone. It's well punctuated though.

Interview your dog, Alex. Write an interview from his point of view. Think of stuff we do that we don't question or expressions that are dumb.
They loved the articles about being on the spectrum- write an article about great minds who were on the spectrum that nobody realized

Congrats and Hugs All! I earned more than last month on Medium, which was more than the month before that, but I know it will take time and consistency. Plus I'm not always physically or mentally able to put together an article, but I'll get there. I'm not giving up... on anything! Happy Hugs!!

Both our vehicles failed inspection this year and require about five thousand dollars in repairs total. So if it seems I've been extra quiet... yeah, I feel like my head is about to explode. Hugs to All!
Yeah, break job for hubby's car and oil tank and oil pan replacement for my Jeep. We had his car repaired first because I don't go anywhere except a psych appt. We had the fuel tank on my Jeep fixed because besides it dripping expensive gas on the ground, it was a dangerous hazard. We have to wait on the oil pan replacement for a bit. Right now you can practically see right through our credit card. Ouch is right. Off to cry now. Hugs

Hoping things look up for you soon.
