So I've seen that pre-orders appear on a different screen to books that are already live and I've found out that I've sold 2 copies of Nate and Day via Amazon.co.uk. And neither of them were me. That's cheered me up. It means two people thought my writing deserved a second look.

My instafreebie list is up to 56 names. Meaning I can tell 56 people about 150 free books that are being listed for free from next week.

I sold a few copies of Nate and Day and when I say a few I mean 5. And one of them was for me. And I bought the paperback too. Cos I want to see what it looks like.

Thanks. I have nothing to compare it to Alex to be honest. I don't know if 56 is a lot or not. I'm hoping to get some more interest when the two group promos I've committed to go live.

Even if 56 people download the book, that doesn't mean they'll get around to reading it. Even if they do read it, it doesn't mean they will tell anyone else about it or review it. And even if they read it, it doesn't mean they'll like it enough to spend a couple of quid on the second book. (shrugs)

Thanks, I appreciate it. I wish I had your confidence. I may be too niche. We'll see. I have yet to find the readers of erotica that lap up my brand of writing. Error, lapping not found where lapping expected.

I would have thought though, with some of my US friends lapping up all things British that you'd have plenty of sales over there.

My paperback arrived. Looks good. It is unfortunately spineless. But oh well. There are pages and they contain words.
